Hey all, just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that Kaden went back into hospital on tuesday afternoon .. I'm sure I told you guys that he was going in because we have no night staff but we think he may have had a seizure. Because Krank and I had limited sleep we took Tuesday afternoon to rest. At about 2:30 until 3:00 Kaden went completely stiff and did not move, was literally frozen ... well if you have heard me talk about him you know he is as floppy as a rag doll so to not be able to move him in anyway is NOT normal ... The kicker is, the nurse watched him go through this for 30 %ucking minutes and did not wake us but but waited until we got out of bed 1 1/2 hours later ... of course we rushed him to the hospital and spent the night in Peds Emerg & then got admitted into his old unit ... Thankfully nothing more has went wrong "knock on wood" He is currently with his nurse having an EEG done to check his brain waves to see if it was in fact a seizure ... If you don't see us around in the next few days, we'll be at the hospital! |

Appreciate your thoughts...... and threats LOL ... I wonder if Kaden knows just how many people really love him, he's such a lucky boy, not as lucky as we are to have him, but still I did post it over there as well just so ya know, but I'm sure you've seen it by now nCH. Funny thing is .... this nurse is probably our BEST ... ugh .. what does that tell you about home care huh? |

Blue, he is doing really well. They moved him out of isolation and into a room with this sweet little girl, which means one of two things. He doesn't need to under close ob anymore and he has some company ... which is nice, I don't think any baby would want to be in a room without anyone's voice to hear ya know? Kaden is so use to always seeing and hearing people at home. Yesterday was a great day for all of us. Krank and I went and spent some time with Kaden, he also had an ultrasound done and it showed things were great (for something else we were testing for) so surgery is not an option we may have had to consider! Yah!! When we were done we had Kaden in a stroller and got to take him out to the park in the back which he has never done before. Other than getting in and out of vechiles to go to hospital or come home, Kaden has not sat outside. We parked him under a big tree and he just sat there singing and clapping his hands ... My eyes are watering up thinking of it ... it was so good to see him enjoy things "normally" After that Krank and I went for dinner, checked out a nice park and went for a 2 hour drive ... it was a great day!  Did all of us some good! |

this is great news gothic! kaden's eyes must have been soooo big, taking in the sounds and the smells and wow... this was a good thing to hear that you did! and as far as having a little roomie... good for him - like you said, the sounds alone are soothing to have... i'd hate to be all by myself for hours and hours... you sound rested, reassured and resurrected! nice to have you back!!! well spank ya very much, his eyes would have been big but he wasn't use to the sun lol ... kept trying to open them, then he'd smile and start squinting again lol ... it was cute |

I am going to pick up some film today, take some pics over the weekend and then get them on here ... it will probably be at least a week though Where I get my pics done, they take a few days but you get doubles and a back up on disk for about 10 bucks ... certainly worth the extra wait I think! Going to use the unit's camcorder as well and get some film of Kaden too  |
