It's just music to his ears...... and no 2 o'clock feedings!

My Scarlet is going through the "wants a mate" stage and the hollering and fits are funny for me... not for him.... he hasn't chosen any one thing so far... anything he can rub on suits him just fine...

I'll bet either the previous owner didn't know or was too embarrassed to mention it. At least he has a tension reliever.

 

But now all I can think of  is:

 "Silver bells, Silver bells, It's mating time in the city...

   Ring-a-ling, hear them sing, now it is mating day. "

 

Poor Rica is starting to call for a mate.  All her pretty tail feathers are gone again ~sigh~ but she kept them longer this year, and let more grow in than ever before. She still has most of her breast fethers for now... She sounds so pitiful when she's "soliciting" that I feel bad for her.

My cockatiel is finding one of her perches to her liking. And Poor Mr P is gurging over one of his toys.... the toy isn't reciprocating.

I'll try to get a pic of my Amazons.....  Sunny the DHY rubs all over Baby, the BFA, and Baby just sits there and lets Sunny do it.  She never does it to Sunny, and they are both females in their upper teens.
