General made matchsticks of one of the Scheffelera's yesterday and it was pretty close to 5 feet tall again (the root system must be gigantic by now as often as it gets eaten down) and then Maya goes for the whole Hib plant...bending it when she landed and all for a flower to eat. I have those all the way around the flight and seldom do they get to grow tall as the birds love to chew them up... but that's why I planted them..
Her colouring is really changing and under the beak there is a lot of yellow starting so she'll be a pretty bird.. Her beak still has the immature dark spot, anyone know when that grows out? I've only had them till about three months and off they go... so I never did give it a second thought...
Goodbird would probably know!
