Thank you!  I've put different kinds of bowls and pans on top of their cages for easier bathing but they like their water bowls the best.

Sunny's showing off a couple of those red feathers I told Etta about.  At one time she had 4, and I told Etta.  We're thinking 4 means a girl, and Sunny is DNA sexed.

However, I noticed one of my little Longaberger baskets in the kitchen had some feathers in it, and I asked hubby where they came from.  He said they're some that the 'Zons have molted out recently, and he's just been putting them in the basket.  So now I'm wondering if Sunny had 5 at one time, and they're among these laying on my couch.  I'll have to tell Etta to forget about my scientific count of red feathers, it may be "iffy".

Welcome to the " we save molted feathers club." I keep a small photo album in my purse with my fid's pics in it - I know a bunch of you all do too - and i also keep a few of the prettiest feathers tucked into one of the pages.  I have given away a few feathers to a coworker who makes fishing flies out of them.  Geez, I've never asked how well they work !

I have several plastic bags of molted feathers, too. I have 4 of Rio scarlet's tail feathers stuck to the wall above the sink in the birdroom. Getting a bit tattered. He moved to a friend's house about 15 years ago.
I have given a few bags to school kids for projects.

I also carry a photo album in my purse.
Are we proud of these guys or what.
Annie
