Everyone, I just see in our thread about Di, that Logan is having spinal surgery next Thursday, March 27. She says that her issue is cervical, and is not due to an injury. Logan, I will be praying that all goes perfectly during surgery, and that you have a quick and complete recovery!! Abby |

I'm only here for a second, but wanted to thank you all for your prayers. I had a very successful surgery and from what the neurosurgeon said, it was definitely time to do it. I knew that! I have a lot of pain right now, but I'll get better in the coming days. She said tomorrow (Saturday) would be my worst day, painwise. Don't know why. At least I am home! Got here around 10:30 this morning. Logan |

Yes, Logan ... how are you doing? I believe it is now a week and a day since you had surgery, so it is early days yet. However, I'm praying that you are improving rapidly! Abby |

I'm hanging in there, you guys. Thanks for continuing to think of me. From what they tell me, I'm adjusting to my new parts, new bone and that titanium plate! Muscles and nerves are fighting a bit, but I'm going to be ok. I'll check in soon! Logan |

Wow...talk about timing! It's good to hear you and your body and parts are working it out! I can't even imagine what it's like to go through something like that. Do you have to take some kind of medication for your body to accept the new things? Anway...I'm glad you are okay...although having a tough time to go through. We're going to continue with the prayers for a speedy and problem free recovery...at least the rest of the way. |

Thanks, Feathers. The one thing they gave me to help is a drug that decreases muscle spasms and also serves as a muscle relaxer. It is doing its job some of the time and I am so much better than even the last time I posted. Achy, but much, much better. Logan |

I hope they continue to do the job for you. I bet you have to rebuild muscles to make your back strong again. Is there some kind of excerise you'll do when the time is right for that kind of thing? The back being so sensitive to everything we do..I bet you have to take great care when you even do simple things. |
