We are okay from the fires now. Hopefully, no more close lightening strikes, and the weather has cooled considerably. Hhere, when we wake up to the temp being 68 degrees at 6 AM and the
thunder clouds are already building to the east, it's scary times for us. Our county had over 500 lightening strikes causing 15 fires needing air fire supression and many of our fire units are called out to fight fires in the southern parts of the state. So times are scary when fires are close by.
We have a very good evacuation plan, but it is troublesome to think that it never was planned with me on crutches, and Don feeling so puny and exhausted.
But you all know my philosophy: I woke up this morning, so this is the greatest day in my life. I'm going to live it to the fullest of my abilities and hope and pray each of you do too.
