Hi guys!

I've been working on a website for a while now..about budgies of course! I wanted to make a section about mutation, a short description of the mutation and a picture of the correspoinding bird
beside it. Budgie mutation is so vast that people often get confused and I'm hoping my website will help them out. So what I need from you guys are photos of your budgies! I have three requests:

1. Attach a picture of your bird here or email them directly into my mail box: [email protected]

2. Please send single full body photo(s) of the bird
3. tell me what mutation the bird is and/or give me a little color
description (sometimes the lighting makes the bird look off- colored), name of the birds, and of course your name/or internet ID.

I want you to know that i will be giving you credit for yours bird's photo but more importantly that I have your permission to use the pics.

Please help me out guys! I'll give the web site addy in a couple of months when i'm done with it. My site is not for commercial purposes but to
help new bird owners out to determine their budgie's coloring. I hope i'm not violoating any rules of conduct in this group!

thanks!!!
Ann

Here is an example of what i'm looking for:

Mutation: Cobalt blue
Color description: Black stripes (head and wings), cobalt blue body, green tail
Bird's name is Mo and is owned by [email protected]

So far I already have:
Albino
Cobalt Opaline
Dark Eyed Clear
Diluted blue silverwing
Dominant pied yellowface mutant 1 sky blue
Double Factor Spangle
Goldenface Violet
Grey Green Greywing
Grey Green Spangle
Light green Spangle Opaline
Normal Cobalt blue
Normal Green
Normal Grey-Green
Normal Sky blue

If your bird mutation is not listed here, please send the picture to me. Thanks a million!

Hi! I saw the picture of the little bird, and I just wanted to say that I have a bird that looks just like that. I didn't know it was a mutation though. We bred an albino with a green and got the cobalt blue. I also have a bird with purple on him, is that a mutation? I'm just now learning about the colors, so, if I sound stupid I'm sorry.
