I have a question on two of my teils. Their previous owner has MS and can no longer take care of  them, she wanted me to take them, because I have an 8yr old teil already, so I said sure, My question is will these two teils, ones female and ones male become  at home in my home? It's only been six  months. Is there any thing I can do to help them feel more at home? They are so cute I wish I knew how to put their pictures on my computer. Willma is an albino and Fred is grey. Willma rules the roost. Fred has picked up some of the bird calls that are on my bird clock. My third teil is my baby. She wakes me up at 6am comes and sleep with me til 8an. . I adore her, I got her at age 7 so it took a year for Chee-Chee to come around, but with Fred and Willma, will they ever get use to me? I've fallen in love with them too.

Dear Ostrich, I am only new to birds but my Milo is a baby tiel and she has just become so close to me I can't beleive it as I have only had her for 6 weeks.  I am sure as the new additions to your family are older it will take a bit of time for them to get to know you, but it may help if they see you handling your Chee-Chee, I know that Teeny the budgie I have has become a little less nervous of me since I have been with Milo.  I hope that you all end up the best of pals and they fids all get along too.If you haven't a scanner or digital camera you could probably take your photo's to  a library or photo place and get them put onto a 3 1/2 " Floppy so that you can down load them onto Bird Brainz and Keep them in a file on your computer, I would love to see your babies.
