OK I'm sort of new here and just bought my first yellow/white canary about 3 weeks ago. Oh....hummm sort of relationship right now yet. Looks scard alot.. seems to fly aimlessly whenever I or anyone else even gets close to the cage. I honestly can say he just sits on his perch eating from his food 80-90% of the day!!! For abt. 4 min. at most he may cherp a short song. It is a boy - guaranteed. I heard him singing in store! Now... not so willing to acclamate! Is that normal behavior? Really bright, airy home here and he can hear the other birds outside peeping, cherping... but no response. Am I missing something here or should I be concerned he might be sick. Dorothy
