Not yet this year, thank goodness. We usually have one at Christmas. That looks awful.

Is that your house?!!!
I hate cold weather and hate the damage ice storms can cause, but you have to admit, it is beautful when everything is covered in ice.
Our forecast says we will be 67 and rain tomorrow, but wed is supposed to be clear and 72. More tornados i guess.

I live in MA and was without power for 17 hours.  Luckily I have a gas stove as a second source of heat so we didn't have to get out. My daughter lives in Southern NH and was without power for 86 hrs.   She has well water and a sump pump in the basement with needs electricity to run.  It was terrible for her. They finally got their power noon time yesterday. AND tomorrow it is SNOW for us. 1-3 inches.

The news is showing so many awful sights around the country!  Very sad.....especially with the economy the way it is!

We're cold....with snow and ice.  However, we lack trees.  That wasn't the case in Oregon though - we had years where trees damaged the roof, windows, and took out sections of the fence more times then we could count.  I DON'T miss all that!

No ice storms here so far, for which I'm thankful.  Just snow, wind and cold...ice on everything is much worse.  It is pretty too look at, but so very destructive.  Kathy

How terrible and that has to be worse than the hurricanes here... st least we don't get cold!!

We're in the 80's again or should be shortly... very humid and this AM was a dense fog warning... I couldn't see the house across the street!
