Nippy loves to get out of her cage and just ride around 1/2 the day on me
Today was no different...until I tried to get her off of me, by having her to step-up onto my finger so I could put her back into the cage...I selfishly needed to go outside for a smoke
And that's when she BIT ME! everytime I reached up she'd bite again
I finally got her (she walks around to my back)..and when I did I bopped her beak (not hard)
I kept putting my other hand up and each time she bit at me I bopped her beak
this went on for about a minute and she quit biting and stepped over to the other hand
I kept telling her.. , 'Don't bite Momma" as I did all this and when she stepped over I told her, "Momma loves Nippy."
Is this ok? Is it too cruel? Is it firm enough? can you even discipline them for biting you?
I saw a thread in here somewhere about a site related to this but I can't find it.
