Surprise!
They are mature at a much younger age than the bigger birds. If you don't want babies, you can boil the eggs and when they are cool put them back in the tent and they might go back and sit on them. If you remove eggs, they will try to replace them. If they don't sit on these, just stick them (boiled) into the refrigerator and save them, then you'll have replacements ready if they lay again soon.
Once they start laying eggs, they are pretty persistent about it if they have a place to nest, so either be prepared to replace eggs with something, or remove the hut.
