She also had a monkey and a male congo african grey. They all lived in the same room. And she bites!! We have an american bulldog and a cat. I am handfeeding 3 babies cockatiels. Hi, and welcome! Boy you have alot of macaws! I bet your house is loud in the am and pm times. I have a 3 1/2 year old male B&G macaw and a baby coming to me in August. My flock also consists of a CAG and a sun conure. I have a Question I believe on a another board, Macaw Talk, someone mentioned that having macaws and toos together in the same room could be hazard to the macaw in regards to respiratory problems. Something about their feather dust. Some macaws have past over cause of this. Not so much greys and their dust because its not so much and so big. Could this be true? Just wondering if this could happen. Thanks. Pat

  ghbirdlady!
Wow, that's a big flock... a lot of work and all that includes. Sounds like you need to sit and relax a bit... so take a break and make yourself at home. There is a ton of info on the side bar, and Chat is Thurs. night at 9 EST. We'd love for you to drop in and say 'hi'. We'd love to see pics if possible too.

I'm slave to 17 Cockatiels at present (Calypso, Sonny & Pearl, Penny & Domino, Smoke, Flynn, Sonar, Valentine, Sandy, Dusty, Jellybean and 5 babies who will be looking for homes soon),  an Alexandrine Parakeet (Rica) and last but not least, a Goffin's Cockatoo (Kit).

I love macaws. I had a Scarlet that I lost over 10 years ago that I really miss. I hope someday to get another. I have to admit a strong fondness to cockatoos as well- good thing for my G2! lol.
