It is so funny what a start it gives me when I see a picture of a bird of the same species as one of mine! I was pooking in the picture albums and saw this on that Ava just posted of Boo, they baby Hahns Macaw that she will be taking home soon.

Boo is sure one beautiful little bird, Ava! Looks exactly like my Beau! lol You are going to enjoy Boo so much. Hahns have marvellous personalities.

Looks like Sherry's little guy too and he is a character... such a smarty pants, talks up a storm and makes me giggle at the things he does...

Boo is beautiful and I know you're anxious for next month to get here when you and he get together...

Uhhhh ... for the uninitiated, pooking = looking.

Toolday, I can't believe you didn't jump on that one!

I was hurrying to comment on pooking and you beat me to it.

He is a beauty. Don't you think the eyering birds look so smart? I love them. My Patti conure had exotic eyerings. They came to a point at each end and she looked oriental.

Oh, how cool to come in and see a pic of Boo!!

I did a lot of research before choosing which species of bird I wanted.  I love the look and personality of the macaws, but I didn't feel confident enough to handle a B&G (my dream).  The adorable Hahn's looks to promise the same sort of intelligence and personality in a smaller package.

I love your photos of Beau, Abby and I love how you call her your velcro bird.

I knew right away what pooking meant....

Wow! I dont think my little Hahns would know what to do with all that play stuff. That is awesome! He is a rescue and can be pretty shy. Sometims he can jabber a bluestreak!

Oh wow!    How is that all supported? Hanging from the ceiling?  Cooper would go nuts with all that stuff to play with!  But I can see it now--first thing he'd do, is try to crawl through the rope mesh and get stuck
