You can't pull anything on our Abby... I missed the Brain episode so hopefully that will be repeated... All the kids were here and the 4th wasn't a good day to be showing Irene and her new protégé. Did I miss anything special? Who saw the programme? |

I saw it, Scots. I was not overly impressed but only because I have seen so many of her shows. Griffin has a way to go to be as good as Alex was, but he is quite a bit younger. I think they said he's 12. I thought he was even younger than that. I still think Twiggy and Bubba and couple more of "our" birds are smarter. We just need videos to prove it. Annie |

I should look and see when it will be repeated.... I think you even gave a link. There is a CAG upstate NY that is smart as a whip and I do believe would have been competition to Alex... All documented if I can find her videos as usually she only shared them on the private board.... |

We TIVO'd the Bird Brainiac show w/ Griffin. Tom & I got to watch it last night. I too was not overly impressed. They showed the same type of thing I had seen Irene do with Alex before. We both said to each other that the BB birdies are just as smart, or smarter. I would love to see someone show on TV the parrots' sense of humor, or how they manipulate their owners (like toddlers), or how they call the dogs over to feed them treats, or like when Twiggy told Wosie to go out to go potty, etc. That is the aspect of parrots that most non-parrot owners have no idea of and I think they would be fascinated by it. |

I bumped this three times yesterday so we could all watch the dog show. It went to cyberspace every single time. Grrr. Cute show and it sounds like it will be a weekly show. A chocolate Boston terrier was the first to be eliminated from the competition. His owner was stupid and caused the poor dog to not do well. Annie |
