My IndianRingneck named Zazzy has somehow escaped, he was due for a wing cut but when I got home today he was gone.. Do ringnecks know how to come back home or is he gone forever?
Oh how sad for you and I know how worried you must be.. usually when they've never been out and free there is little for them to focus on as being familiar ....... We all have been there at one time or the other and do the usual "searches". Call and let everyone know the bird has escaped .. even to the police who sometimes receive calls on exotics.... then the Humane Society tomorrow...... posters in convenient locations and the hanging/sitting the cage outdoors leaving the door open. I've gone up and down the neighborhood singing/whistleing and playing a recording in the hopes I'll get a response from the lost bird....... many web sites have lost and found birds and that's a down the road option......... Too2
I'm wondering if you have any news?......... Do you hear any chirping or calls in the neighborhood?....... Keep us informed and the best of luck finding Zazzy...... Too2
BTW how do you think he escaped since you said "when you got home" he was gone?......How do you think he got out...I don't suppose there's a chnce he could be stuck somewhere indoors?.. I'm sure you would be hearing some commotion by now if that were the case........... Too2
He must have gone through an open window. The one window in the study was open... I have driven and walked eveywhere to find him but he is gone. I even got a list of all the people in the street and phoned them too.
