Your bird must be drinking water when you are not looking..birds don't drink that much or that often. I don't know how long you have had her but if she did not drink any water at all she would not live very long. Just use ordinary dishes right now, as she may not recognize what a water bottle is.... My birds also like to drink the water off a wet lettuce leaf ( I wet it with a spritz bottle  with the boiled water they normally drink)  Alfie

Postalmama, I agree with Alfie.  I've had a little budgie who fell in my yard a year ago (he's totally splay legged and cannot walk or stand) and I've yet to see him drink...other than the day he appeared.  He was totally exhausted from flying for heaven knows how long.  He took to food and water immediately, but that was the only time I saw him drink.   If he/she is a brand new arrival, it may take a  day or so to settle in...
If the little one has been with you for some time, and you are concerned, see an avian vet and keep an eye on the poop.  In fact, the new August issue of Bird Talk has a great article with photos of what poop should look like if normal and what is not...it's a good issue to keep on hand.  Also, with new fids, it is a good idea to have an avian vet do a check up...it can tell you a lot about the little one's health.  My guys have a check up once a year, just to make sure.  I strongly recommend developing a relationship with an avian vet...
Keep us posted!

Is your bird drinking yet ?  Although it is like the others have said- you may not see the bird drinking.  Just in case, be sure to offer some fruits or veggies that are high in moisture content- grapes, apples, celery bits.  I know some people feed their birds these items on trips when the bird does not want to drink while traveling.

When I feel like my bird hasnt been drinking to make me feel better(cause he
probably had been drinking) I put his favorite veggies in water and put that
in his cage and he has to dip into the water to get the veggies so I know
he his getting water .    Martha
