Hi,
I am new here.  I just got a quaker today!!  He is 9 wks old.  He seems very sweet.  I have been researching these birds for the last few months.  Right now I'm trying to think up a name for him.  I'm just soooo excited lol.  I asked him if he wanted to be called Turkey ( cause I got him or her the day after thanksgivign!) and he bobbed his head up and down.  hehe  I know this is baby behavior but it was still cute.  I already have 2 parakeets and a dog and 2 cats in the house.  He seems very calm around them.  Of course when I let him out the cat will be in the basement and the dog in another room as well.

Congratulations, Annie.  I used to know a quaker who was the smartest little bird.  Have fun with him.
Have you looked on the net for the pet's names sites?  There are lots of names to help you decide. Or to drive you crazy trying to decide.
Let us know what name you choose.
