Actually I never let them have clutch aftre clutch I have been letting have a clutch a year. This clutch had 5 babies but the 5th was to weak to live and lasted about a week and died. I am thinking I should of pulled him and tried to hand feed him maybe he would of had a chance.

don't start beating yourself up Dianne... it would have been harder with the struggle of trying to feed every few hours and then there still wouldn't have been a guarantee...

I'm sorry about the one you lost, Deede, but sometimes Mother Nature knows best.

They are so cute.  My Lily and Buttercup have new eggs this week.  Lily left the first ones so I took them out when she had stayed out for 5 days and cleaned the eggs out..
Now she is at it again.  I'm so worried that I will have to help with babies.  It will be extremely difficult since I work and away from home from 6:30 am until 6Pm every day.
Maybe she will abandon these too so I don't have to deal with babies..
I wish she would just stop.
Sherry

Hi Deede - I love your babies.  My bonded pair has had 4 clutches in about 2 years (12 babies in all).  The babies in your photo look exactly like mine - I have a white face male and a lutino female.  They seemed to have produced many cinnamon pearls; one or two grays and one or two cinnamons - I kept 2 babies from the 1st clutch and 1 baby from the second.  Now I have a party of five!!    Laura
