You need to give her a bath/shower asap. If she preens and ingests any of that stuff it could kill her. I would towel her and hold her under a running tap (tepid water) and make sure it is thoroughly rinsed.

IN ALL THE YEARS I USED A DYE I MADE SURE NO BIRDS WERE AROUND AS DYE IS VERY DANGEROUS... MOST WON'T EVEN ALLOW A BIRD CLOSE TO THEM FOR A FEW DAYS AS THE ODOR CAN LINGER AND STILL CAUSE PROBLEMS.
HOPEFULLY THIS BIRD WILL SUSTAIN LITTLE DAMAGE.

she's fine thanks   washed her off   (she was thrilled)   theres the slightest trace left which i guess will have to wear off   alls fine  thanks again for your concern
