Twiggy is having a hard time adjusting to some new food her mean Mama got her for pluckers.  It's called Bird-Elicious Pluckers Natural Select and she's not too happy about the change.  She is learning to eat it but she's grumbling about it and spend lots of time looking for nuts and her other food that she loved.  She's still talking, just hasn't come up with anything new or funny or silly since she's been on the new food.  Twiggy's Mama

Oh gosh mean mama, more stress! Did you hear positive results with this food Di? and what does it have that attracted you to giving it a try?
I can just imagine the grumbling from Ms Twiggy... Diana is so cute with her grumblings though that's all they are as if she was really annoyed she'd bite me or move away...
I've decided it's a means of communication with her

I heard about this food from several folks who have had good results from using it with rescued birds with plucking problems.  Twiggy is enjoying it, especially when eating it slightly warmed for breakie or dinner and she has actually gained about 8 grams since she has been on it which is a real plus in my book.

Twiggy's barbering of feathers seems to be a manipulative thing she uses when things don't go her way.  Such as:  She was about 3/4 feathered in when Don had surgery about 2 months ago.  He and I were both gone from home for about 12 hours while he was having surgery and was in the hospital......when we came home she had started destroying her feathers again.  Now that she is starting to regrow her tail feathers and more breat feathers, our family with grandsons are coming to visit over the Independence Day Week, so I'm sure those new feathers will disappear when they upset her perfect little life by being here and taking some attention away from her......The jealous little brat.  di

P.S.  Look in Twiggyism for her latest per Cat N LoCo's request
