This morning Twiggy woke up asking *Twiggy got outside for sunshine-goodshine*

Don told her he didn't think so today because it was rainy and cloudy.

A little later she hollered *DON! Cloudy for Cody to go to sunshine?*

I guess she was checking to see if it was going to be okay for Cody to go out and not her.

lol ... So did you assure her that he couldn't go out either? lol

She is such a riot! And such a little bossy-boots with poor Don! lol

That's too funny. My u2 will til me when it is time for our dog to go outside. Spot stands by door and sugar the u2 will say Spot's got go potty.I almost fell off my chair the first time she did it. Sugar is potty trained and will tell us she has to go potty than she tell us i went potty. It is funny the things they come up with.
Sugar loves to go where ever i go. I walkedto a friends and Sugar went with me being cold out she knows she must get inside my coat. I zip it a little way and she climbs in so i can zip her in for the walk to Dawn's.
I hope it is warn enough for Twiggyism and all the rest of the birds to go outside soon.

Thank heavens the sun is out today and the clouds are sparse so both Twiggy and Glory are allready outside.  I told Twiggy it was still to cold, as I prefer to wait until it's about 60 degrees because she has so few feathers.  She sassed me back with:
*Twiggy going to sunshine-good shine now! Twiggy not too cold-y!*  So she and Glory are out on the deck in 55 degree weather cackling and enjoying themselves.

Sugar'smom:  Twiggy also regulates when our three dog's can go in and out for their potty breaks.  In fact she potty-trained our 4 year old English Bulldog, Wosie.  When we got Wosie, she did one poop in the corner next to Twiggy's cage and Twiggy looked down and saw it and yelled *Oh, Mama!  What's that?*  I told her Wosie pooped and she went on and on about how bad Wosie was told Wosie how 'ugly' her poop was and to go outside to poop.    Wosie was soooo  humiliated she has never had another accident in the house.

Di - that reminds me of what my birds do when the dogs poop in their room.  Whenever I return home from errands, my birds start yelling and whistling for me.  But if the dogs poop in their room (which they do once or twice a month on the average), the birds are silent.  I walk over to their doorway, and they are all looking down at the poop on the floor, and then at me.  Like, "look at that awful mess on our floor."
I don't bother to try to correct my dumb dogs any more.  They're hopeless.
As a matter of fact, the birds have tile on their floor, and I'd rather they use that floor as a bathroom, instead of our hardwood flooring in the rest of the house.  I think they could hold it, but they've been so spoiled by my husband.  He never would correct them for misbehaving, and he created 2 little stinkers.

Hmmm ... I wonder if HRH could train toddlers, Di? Maybe you could cash in on that one! lol

I'm glad that Glory and Twiggy were able to get some sunshine-good shine this morning! How long were they able to be out before Twiggy got too cold-y? lol

Oh di...everything was going so well....I was just reading and chuckling and smiling..till I got to the part when Twiggy looked down and yelled "Oh, Mama! What's that?"
I'm hopelessly caught in a contiunous laugh./giggle/eyes watering.  My sides hurt now...my cheeks are aching....I can't stop!

Oh man......that bird and her antics have some major giggle powers!
I must say she has sense.  Unlike Tommy - he'd not even hesitate and ask "what's that?"  He'd get right there and talk it silly - with the first question - "What's yur name".  Ick.  One more reason I just can't have a pup.
