Don's was sitting in his chair reading the paper and dozig and Twiggy was eating breakkie and could see him she called out:

*Don!*
Don answered: Huh?
*Wanna ashhk you a queshhhhshun? Okay?*
Don: with greater interest, Sure go ahead.
* Don, Twiggles wanna babblebabble yadda yaaddaa Zoey so baby unintelligible giberish, and Mamma, babble babble, Okay?*
Don: Uh Twiggy I don't know what you want. Can you say again?
Twiggy: *Wrong wrong wrong! Okay*

Incidentally, the 'ask you a question' phrase is completely new to her vocabulary.  Sure wish we could have understood her long question as it went on for about 3 minutes and she was very serious the entire time she was asking it.

It seems as if Twiggy is trying so hard to ask something....but unsure of how the sounds go on that one.  Wonder if she's really trying to trick Don into something.

That "babble" really cracks me up!! The only one that does that here is Tommy and he does it consistently when Robert and I are having any type of discussion. There are times when he is sitting on my shoulder and I truly would like to have an OFF button!

Keep up them Twiggyisms!! My family really gets a kick out of them - especially when Don is involved! The men here know what it is like to "get no respect".

Isn't it frustrating (and hilarious) when they go on and on in such a serious tone, but you have no idea what they're talking about?  Phoebe does that a lot.

Di -- I have to say thanks.  It has been such a treat to read the twiggyisms.  I haven't checked this page in a while and so there were many that were new to me.  I love hearing all about Twiggy, and Glory and Cody and Zoe so-baby too!

I love Twiggyisms! Miss Twiggy also sounds like my 2 yr. old Granddaughter when she wants to talk to me on the phone....some understandable and some jibberish and yet she thinks that I should understand it all!Deb

When Twiggy learns to fill in the babble part with words, she'll be talking in paragraphs!  She is an amazing girl.  Fergie is so funny about talking clearly!  I so enjoy hearing about what everyone's birds say, since the best my cockatiels have ever said is "pretty bird."  Kathy

Heehee........ Twiggy is so cute!   You and Don need to figure out what she's saying because she sure can talk!  How awesome is it that she calls "Don" and he answers!

Boo has his routine where he 'helps' us wash the dishes every night and sits on my shoulder talking gibberish, just to be included in the conservation.  And every once in a while during the conversation he'll start laughing (he sounds just like us!) Its really funny.

Twiggy is just amazing....!!
