Roz my Home Health Nurse ,was here today for my weekly check up. Twiggy was inside chatting and singing away.  Roz asked if she could approach her cage and talk to her. I gave her permission but cautioned her that Twiggy usually doesn't speak in front of strangers.

Twiggy sang Happy Birthday to Twiggy and Cody for Roz and then she cocked her head and checked Roz out.  Roz has long very dark hair and Twiggy looked her hair over and over and finally said very seriously, *Do you do 'feathers'?*

When Twiggy is barbering her feather we always tell her.."Don't do feathers!"  So for some reason she equated Roz's long dark hair to her own barbering of feathers.

That is so cute, Di!! I'm really glad that Twiggy opened up for Roz, and wasn't her usual shy-around-a-stranger self! lol

That's precious!
It's also a hmmm moment..... Sailor will reach through the bars of her cage in the evening and preen my hair, she's very gentle about it too.... and seems to mess less with her own feathers when she  has had the chance to mess with mine (the hair that is).

Wonder if it will make a difference to her seeing others not doing their feathers.  What a smart girl...to equate hair with feathers.
How many times a day to walk around scratching your head in wonderment of her.  LOL

Oh how cute she is.  I am just imagining her studying Roz's long hair and thinking about it.  She is one special little girl.
