I've been trying to send a pic with this but it won't take....... Anyway it's March now and here in supposedly sunny Florida we have a freeze warning....... All my plants are up and trying to bloom..... the snowdrops, crocus', daffodils, azaleas and camellias will take a beating if this comes about.........
I went to the lab for tests today, and will have to take more tests on Thursday.... I was supposed to take them this afternoon at 3pm but couldn't hold out with the lack of eating and drinking especially with the hypoglycemia...I had started to "crash" so they fed me quickly and now Thursday morning bright and early I'll finish the other tests....... It means Mike taking off work again as I can't drive due to the blackouts and the oxygen results showed a 54%  level......maybe to get a good nights rest I may opt for the unit that they use for overnights.....too2

Chances are, you'll just get mean.
I have a friend who has to take steroids due to serious longterm lung problems. Breathes real good now but is as mean as a snake. Hubby does the same thing when he has to take them. I threaten to hide them if he doesn't straighten up.
Be nice to us.
Annie

Annie I'd forgotten that from the time I took them in 03... Geez I was a walking time bomb...... and they're 30mg
I do feel better today as the inhalers I had have been changed or at least the med was, then the Nebulizer med increased to 3mg and already it has broken up the obstruction that hit me a couple of hours after I'm up and about, and finally the Albuterol tablets are still the same 4mg....
I do have this urge to run out and buy a baseball bat and join the Major Leagues ....Too2

I had big plans to work outdoors in the flight, hanging baskets and planting more sprouting seeds.... only it's drizzling and the sun still isn't out...... that blows that... Mike was going to paint the van for me as when I peeled off the "flag decal" on the side (since it looked faded) the paint came off with it......it was the Confederate flag and isn't allowed here in the south.  .....Too2

I hope eveyone is having a good weekend, and is remaining tornado, drenching rain and snow free. It got up to 55 here ( I can see Too2 shivering from here lol) and to the midwest types that IS spring lol.
Wayne and our oldest son Jake finished installing the garage door openers, scrubbed out the garage, and worked on his car.
Sheesh all I did was clean the bird room and the bathrooms lol.
Tomorrow we're heading up to Des Moines to attend the bird show. It's a dumb to have it on Easter but this is the first show I will have been to in a while! I 'll have a lamb roast merrily cooking in the crockpot for that evening though.
Have a Happy Easter Everyone!

Only going for toys and maybe a new cage. I'm only taking feathered friends that need a home, not babies that will get snapped up. Of course *now* that I say that... ~sigh~ lol Hopefully I will come home birdless. Seriously my next bird would be a rehome. ( I hope) Nan
Does that sound firm? LOL

OK Nan, we'll be looking forward to hearing what all you bought at the Fair.....
It's wet and humid outside but at least nice and warm considering I had to clean off the flight and patio before the birds got to go out.......What a mess..... I think I'm getting overwhelmed with the amount of yard work staring back at me and today I had plans to kick back, take it easy and we'd decided we'd go to Sunrise Services at Ft Pickens but due to the storms, it's under water..........
There are times that I feel at my age all I need is a bed roll and shopping cart ... Too2

I know how you feel Too2. I've been overwhelmed by this house ever since the fire on Nov. I need to have a huge garage sell. I have too much STUFF. A shopping cart and a sleeping bad are starting to look good.

Yard work is not an option. The GS's keep it mowed and that's the best I can do. I did cut the bougainvillea back, but that's all I've done. I think my Hawaiian hibiscus died in the snow. I may try cutting that back as well, but it doesn't look good.

We are having a beautiful day, though windy and cool. Becky cooking a great Easter dinner, but I need to go out and feed critters. Hope everyone has a good Easter.

Just hoping all the darn wheels are pointing forward Peggy... if not see you somewhere on I35.......Too2

Too2 and Peggy ,make sure you guys don't get the cart with one bad wheel! You could end up really pushing and hearing the squeak all the way! I'll meet you both in New Orleans!

I came back from thr bird show with a bunch of food from Love on the Wing, bunch of birdy toys and the fixings for more! I did play with a few macaws and a Mexican Red Head Amazon! Hehehehe I could hear Wayne start to hold his breath!

Hubby 'bout went balistic when we walked into the kitchen and found Manny helping himself to the sausage I had cooked for the baked beans for lunch. He had most of it gone by the time I caught him.   I had gone outside to help hubby hang a canopy so we could cook out.  It has rained off and on all day, thunderstorms and lots of bad weather today.  Anyway, we had this planned for a week so we couldn't back out.  Hubby was not a happy camper when he had to go back to town (about 20 miles) for more sausage.....only bad thing about having a big dog. They can reach anything on the cabinets they want.  I finally got the beans done, Hubby got the burgers cooked, everyone was stuffed and I took a nap when everyone went home.  All in all a nice Easter, in spite of the weather.
Sherry:)

Sherry you're lucky hubby went to the trouble of running into town.... Glad the cook out went smoothly after that...... How did you miss the rain?
I'm taking a break from cage cleaning, sun is finally out and maybe we'll dry out. I decided to take outdoors what I could from the cages and scrub them, letting the sun do the rest......
I don't know what's easier, steam cleaning inside or dragging trays, grates, perches and toys outdoors..... I have to refill my steamer so often as I'm slow, that's a drawback and I do like the thought of being able to bleach them then hose them down.....Too2

It has rained non stop for the last 19 hours and the constant beeping about flash flooding has changed all my driving plans... now I'll have to take the main roads as the short cuts might be under water......... I knew I should have kept the boat even if I only rowed with one oar!!.....
See y'all when I get back....... Too2
