4 ouncescrushed dried corn
1 pound brown rice
8 ounces dried split peas
1 cup raisins
1 cup unsulphured dried bananas
4 ounces dates
2 ounces pistachio nuts
1 cup non fat dry milk powder
2 teaspoons allspice
Mix together and add enough extra
corn, rice and peas to total 3 pounds.
Add 3 quarts water.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Cool and pack in daily portions for the freezer.
Serve warm.
