Ingredients

Here's mine. 

This is my Conures main diet along with pellets and seed and whatever else they happen to eat.

 

1 small bag of dried 15 bean soup (without the flavor packet of course)

4 or 5 cups of popcorn kernels

4 or 5 cups of organic brown rice

1 small bag of organic pasta (I usually use the colored alphabet letters

1 bag of frozen mixed veggies (g. beans, lima beans, corn, carrots, and peas).

1 bag of frozen red, yellow and green peppers

1 large head of chopped chard.

2 chopped red delicious apples

 

 

Procedure

I do the bean mix and popcorn in the crock pot.  I cook the pasta and rice on the stove.  The rest is just added as-is.  I mix itall up in four huge bowls then use a half cup measuring cup to scoop it into individual ziplock sandwich bags.  Then those 1/2 cup serving bags all go into a bunch of big ziplock freezer bags, I date them, and freeze them.  I take out a baggie and put it in the fridge to thaw, then put it in their dishes and microwave twice a day for the spoiled conures!
