The same here in West Virginia! Rain, rain and more rain. Getting my house painted is turning into a long term operation. So many of Dayton's baseball games have been postponed that some of them were never made up and going on my annual Poker Runs have turned out to be drenching experiences. The two days we were at Six Flags were messed up by all the rain (and lightning) shutting down the rides for long periods of time, we never got our moneys worth on that trip. |

Same here in Alabama this has been the wettest spring/summer that I can remember since I came here. Seems like every time I take the Harley out this year I get rained on and have to spend 2 or 3 hours cleaning her back up. SHEESH!!!!!!!!!!! |

This has been an unusual summer here in Nashville--lotsa rain and cooler temps than I can ever remember. But, if anyone was here for the playoff game w/titans this year, a bit o rain ain't so bad! Coldest game I've ever sat thru, and I've been to many a GREAT playoff game in Pgh since the wonderful days of the '70's...ahhhhhh, those WERE the days, my friends... Going HOME for a class reunion Aug 16th, so hopefully rain will have rained out by then, but will sit thru the game w/dallas regardless of hell or hurricane...GO STEELERS!! |
