Alternative lifestyle wouldn't surprise me.  One of my classmates told me when he same the markings, "Whenever you hear the words 'Prof Susan Hunter' and 'feminism' in the same sentence, run away!"  She was a nice lady, good teacher, but she definitely had a stick up her rear about feminism.

 

I will name names here... she's Prof Susan Hunter of Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA.  I don't know if she still teaches there; it was in 1987.

Ya know, I am a feminist to a degree...   I don't expect men to open doors for me, and I don't NEED a man to make me a whole person and I DO believe in the glass ceiling, for women it does exist, but SHEESH.  I do not expect for them to rewrite the constitution, This whole humankind thing is a bunch of bunk...   

 

Yeah!!!  Augusta National is a PRIVATE club; ie, they get no public funding.  So why should they be forced to allow women in if they don't want to?

 

About 10 miles from my house, there is a college call Scripps College in Claremont, CA (I'm not talking about the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego).  Here is their URL: http://www.scrippscol.edu/  In case you didn't know, Scripps is private college for WOMEN ONLY!  So why isn't Martha Burk, the B**CH who is leading the protest against August, out protesting against Scripps for not letting any men enroll at Scripps?  Shouldn't Scripps College be forced to admit men, just like the Citadel military academy in South Carolina?

Remember that Chick who fought and fought to get into West Point?? 

 

Didn't she end up having mental problems because of all the ridicule she took there, and she then LEFT West Point. 

 

Now there are instances when, if told you can't do something, you can wail and flourish and prove them wrong, but I don't think this would be one of those situations.

That was the Citadel in South Carolina.  And yeah, she raised all Hell to get in, then she couldn't even pull her own weight and dropped out!

Maybe there are 2 instances..  or maybe I need to stop sniffing white out??  I dunno..

Thank God,that in Her wisdom,She chose not to put any "Womyn" on the Steelers.Hehehehehe!Sorry,just trying to turn this into a Football related topic.Yesterday,I was walking into a store that had a narrow hallway.A young woman was coming out with her arms full of packages.I backed up,and opened the door for her instictively, for this is the way I suppose I was brought up.With a big smile,she said,"Thank-you.you're so sweet!"I said Happy Valentines and she said Happy Valentines back.Her "thank-you" was said in such a heartfelt,genuine,grateful way that it made me feel real good.I am still thinking about it. Imagine if the whole world worked and reacted this way today.Now,I know she was capable of opening the door herslf,but I was just trying to be helpful,and she appreciated it.I would have done the same for a man.There is a real good book written a few years back entitled,"Politically Correct Bedtime Stories",which cuts to the heart of this thread,along with many other politcally correct terms of our day.It is hysterical and I highly reccomend it. GO STEELERS!
