When God says a thing it is true.  You just have to come to understand the whole matter.  Just because it said without the shedding of blood is no remission of sins, DOES NOT do away with the requirement of God by which we are given the benefit of this blood power to cleanse.
Now think of this ----no one comes and litteraly 'sprinkles' Jesus' blood on you for this cleansing.  See in the OT types and shadows, Moses and Aaron sprinkled the blood of the animals on the people.
This DOES NOT take place in the NT salvation.  So then, who and how is the BLOOD applied to you?  Ever think of this?

God has a REQUIREMENT which you MUST obey IF you wish to have this cleansing blood APPLIED to your sin-laden soul.

IF----you are unwilling to obey God's REQUIREMENT, then the blood which was shed will NEVER BE APPLIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND YOUR SINS REMITTED.

It is true that you MUST believe on Him first.......but that is not the end of the matter.  You must take and obey all of God's Word.....not just one part of it.

God did not say that by believing, your sins are remitted.  He did not say believe to have your sins remitted.  He said first (after you truly believe) you must REPENT.
Now this is the part almost no one is obeying.  REPENT.  Most people do not even understand what this means.

It does NOT mean to ask forgiveness of your sins.  It means to FORSAKE THEM.........quit doing them..........be very sorry for having done them.........sorry enough to quit doing whatever you are doing which is against God's Word.........
(but this is not the end of the matter either)....

Then you must be willing to go be water baptized in the Name which is the ONLY name given under Heaven, among men (us humans) by which we MUST be saved.......and that name is Jesus.

Now after you obey these steps, then God will apply the blood of Jesus to you and remit your sins.  Unless you obey this, God will never remit your sins..........they still cling to you........you are not clean.....you are not forgiven.....you are  not justified.........grace has not been given to you........for you did not come in the NT way.

The thief on the cross is NO EXAMPLE OF NT SALVATION.

NT Salvation was not available until the day of Pentecost.  No one up until that day had ever truly obtained salvation or remission of sins.

They were ALL, From Abraham down to the thief on the cross, held in a place waiting for the atonment to be made which is the only atonment ever to satisfy God and be able to cleanse the sinner.

No one sinner up until Pentecost (they without us are never made whole)....was ever cleansed and set free from their sins, or had them remitted.
So you cannot go in the 'thief - on - the - cross' method.  You are not on that side of Pentecost.

Jo

Eric, it is 'strange' that you cannot find and quote any Scripture for what you say and teach, now isn't it?  Doesn't this clue you in that it is false as can be?  It should.

Especially in the light of PLENTY of Scripture saying the opposite.  Here you go again calling the Written Word a lie,   calling Peter and Paul and Phillip lies.  So now, Mr. Eric knows more about salvation than Peter, the one with the keys to the kingdom, knew?  I think not.

And Your false stuff will condemn you at the judgment, for you refuse to come into light; truth, so you can be saved.

Hello Prophet McCain,

Again I welcome you to Bottf.  I will try to find time some time today to look at your site.
But I ask you,  If you do not believe in arugring doctrine,  what are others suppossed to do,,,just accept whatever you say without question?  or the same with others?

Why is it that people who love the truth and desire more of it are the ones who love to debate the Word?
I find that those who have no open place in their heart, or mind,  to receive any teaching from anyone else, are those who have closed up their own eyes and ears and are not willing to learn from anyone,  for they do not desire to learn.  They are set in the belief they already possess, even if it is not in truth the Written Word of God.

Now I say we are taught in the Word of God to argure , debate, contend for the faith which was once delivered to the Saints.  We are commanded to do this.  Contend means to argure for the truth.

What are you afraid of ?  I ask everyone this, who comes against Arguring.  The word of God is full of the apostles arguring the Word.  They were not about to let false doctrine consume the people they had opportunity to teach and reach.

Neither am I.

Joie

THE DIFFERANCE IS THE APOSTELS WERE TEACHING NOT ARGUING... AND ITS HARD TO DO THAT WHEN YOU HAVE PEOPLE WITH UNTEACHABLE SPIRITS. NOT SAY THAT YOU ARE BUT IT JUST GOS TO SHOW THAT MOST OF THE TIME WE ARE MINISTERING WITH ALL WE HAVE AND IFA PERSONS UNTEACHABLE YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME. SO WE NEED TO WALK IN DISERNMENT.
GOD BLESS YOU...

Now Prophet McCain you said it, not I.
I thought you being a Pastor, that you would be ready to prove all things. Especially the name Jesus, and that you are a prophet.

But if you have not obeyed the true plan of salvation [Acts 2:38]  and if you have not received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as on the day of Pentecost, then you are being cheated and do not really know what it is to be filled with God.  This is the joy unspeakable and FULL OF GLORY. ( joie)

If it was good enough for Peter and the other apostles and early church. It's good enough for Isaiah..

Where?  Where does the Scripture teach us not to argue the Word?  You must not have read much in the NT.  I can tell you, the apostle Paul, said he was in much CONTENTION = arguring and hot debates,  daily.

Read acts 15.....and when there had been MUCH DISPUTING  =  aruguing,  they settled the question.

James said to honestly CONTEND = argue for the faith once delivered to the saints.

Maybe everyone just 'assumes' that we are not to argue.  Many think that Jesus was just soft spoken,,,,and went around soothing over things and people.  Not so!  Better read Matt. 23.  Also how many times he openingly REBUKED THE DISCIPLES FOR THEIR ERROR.

Paul said to REBUKE, Exhort....what does REBUKE mean?  If you are afraid to argue, surely you are also afraid to REBUKE.

God never told us to go around just softly speaking something then letting the devil's ministers come along and deceive everyone without a WAR.

Better go study the Word some more.  .....i mean all of you who are afraid to argue the word of God.

I am not afraid and I will not be deterred from going to war with false doctrine....and that Jesus-only is false doctrine.  It makes you be ANTICHRIST........for denying BOTH  THE FATHER   AND  THE SON.

It is absolutely the only way in.  God gave no other plan of salvation.

I have asked Denise what Jesus said was the way of salvation.  All she could say was some ugly slander.  she did not know.
