Jesus is my Sabbath

Matt. 11:28 - Come unto ME, all ye that LABOUR and are heavy LADEN, and I will give you REST ( Here Matthew is speaking to those under the law) ( ‘laboring?is the works of the law; we do not labor for Grace; it is given to us)

Vs. 29 - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. ( See, if you are in rest, you are not laboring -- the law is ?works? laboring.

Vs. 30 - For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ( Remember, that the old law was only heaviness and hard on them? Jesus changed this and gave us something light and easy to do) Praise God for the victory; for deliverance from that old hard way of life; from that old law.

Now, my dear friend, please take a few minutes of your time to stop and meditate on this. JESUS said come to ME. He did not say come to Saturday. He said come to me and I’ll give you rest. The REST for your SOUL; not rest for your body.

This is where the mix up comes in; you are still in the first covenant; = that of the flesh. The law in the word is referred to as ‘flesh? This is the one that lines up with the first man Adam. It is the one that God hated= the Essau. He did away with this ‘flesh?‘laboring?covenant. Those people in that covenant never did please God. The law is not of faith; without faith it is impossible to please God. So, why would God require us to go back to that? If it is not of FAITH and you cannot please God without Faith, of what merit would there be in our returning back to that after Jesus gives us his rest and faith?

I just do not see how anyone can fail to see this? It is just too plainly taught in the word. Just because we see that we are not under that old law, does not mean that we go out and commit murderer or other sins. No! We go by Commandments of the New Testament. It is Holy living. Those back under that law never did live Holy. He lives In us. He lives his holy life in us. That is the difference. They never had that under the law; neither do you law keepers of today.

Jesus gives us rest to our souls. It is the second heaven. You are still in the first heaven which was done away with, Jesus is our rest. This rest is everyday; not just one day a week. The New Covenant is much more than the old. Jesus said we do not hate; for this Is murder. See, our standards are higher than those of the old. We keep the holy Commandments with the power of the Holy Ghost. But it is not the old law. I know that you cannot see what I am saying; for that old law blinds you.

Gal. 3:11 - But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith

Vs. 12 -And the law is not of faith:

It is a curse: vs. 13-- Christ hath redeemed us FROM the CURSE of the LAW --- see? He REDEMMED us FROM the LAW? How much clearer does it need to be? He said it was a curse; he said It is not of faith; he said It cannot justify anyone to keep it. What more do you need?

Our SABBATH is the REST that Jesus GIVES US; IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WE DO

Vs. 24 - Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

vs., 25 - But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.= ( the law ---we are no longer under the law. If you are under the law, you have not yet come to Christ.

The law is bondage: Paul said the same thing.

Gal. 4:24 - Which things are an allegory: for these are the TWO COVENANTS; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. ( Now surely you know that this one is the one Moses got= the 10 Commandments)?---which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar ( Hagar and Ismael- the law = bondage= which is Agar= the one from Mt. Sinai)

Vs. 25 - For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in BONDAGE WITH HER CHILDREN

If you are under the law you are one of the children of Agar- for you are a ‘child?of the law= which is bondage. So said the Holy Word of God. (No wonder the law keepers try so hard to discredit the Holy King James Bible

Tweety, that subject has been discussed so much here, in years past, with beffers and other adventist, that there is no stone left unturned, proving it is not God's way.

can they hear?  You bet not.  all they know is Ellen White.  They take her word for everything, and she was badly deceived.  On her word, they rest.  She is their god.

So you would only be upsetting your own self, and wasting your time to try to show him anything.  He cannot 'hear' the Word of God.

If they cannot see that the entire old covenant was death and done away with by God, they will never see anything.

Anyway, there are many messages on this subject in our law/sabbath board.  Take a look.

And God bless you, and give you peace of mind.  It will take getting away from that board to find peace of mind.  when so many over there lie, and sneer and make snide remarks, it is a useless place to try to discuss Scripture.

See how that old 'ace' lied about me...stating that I use other people's names?  they have no christian spirit......to just lie about someone like that...and that ole beffers, lying about me, saying I use other 'nicks' to talk to myself.  It is a lie from Satan.

But of course, they all believe his lies, for they hate someone who teaches God's pure truth.

Acts 5:42---And  DAILY   in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Now, there is the New Testament day to worship and keep holy;   all of them.

Now how many of you desire to follow the apostles and their example?  There it is;  do it every day.  This is not any gobble-de-gook  trying to explain this 'word' and that 'word';  explain away how the Scripture was translated:  this is letting the Word say what is the true answer.

This said they   CEASED  NOT   TO  TEACH   AND  PREACH   EVERY DAY.

When the new testament Christians looked into the truth and saw that God had changed everything from the 10% thing in the Old Testament, to 100% in the New Covenant,  most of them backed out and decided to stay with the Old Covenant---to the lose of their own soul.

Acts 4:32---And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart (all in agreement)---and of one soul:  neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own;  but they had all things common.

v34---Neither was there any among them that lacked:  FOR AS MANY AS WERE POSSESSORS OF LANDS OR HOUSES SOLD THEM, AND BROUGHT THE PRICES OF THE THINGS THAT WERE SOLD, AND LAID THEM DOWN AT THE APOSTLES' FEET:  AND DISTRIBUTION WAS MADE UNTO EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HE HAD NEED.

(sorry, didn't realize I was on caps).

Now, this is the New Testament way of giving:  all;  100%.  Who wants to follow the apostles?  Who wants to go worship every day?  Who wants to hear preaching every day?  Where are you?

Why do you cling to the O.T. Sabbath?  Because you do not want New Testament ways.

Neither Saturday nor Sunday satisfies God today:  it is all or nothing.

Now, for another Witness of this:  Heb.3:13---But exhort one another  DAILY,  while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Now, that is what happens to those of you who only want to do this one day a week:  you become hardened through decietfulness of sin.

Another witness:  11Cor.11:28--Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me     DAILY,   the care of all the churches.

Now, this shows Paul was into church work every day.

Acts 19:9---But when divers were hardened, and believed not,  but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he (Paul)--departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing   DAILY   in the school of one Tyrannun.

v10---And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Now, this shows that Paul taught every day for two whole years.

Acts 17:17--Therefore disputed he (Paul)  in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.

Now, here we find that Paul taught  DAILY  in the  SYNAGOGUES,  and then outside in the market   DAILY.  When he left the synagogues, he didn't stop;  he kept teaching outside in the market place,  DAILY.   Now where are you?

Acts 16:5---And so were the churches established in the faith, and  increased in number  DAILY

For it to increase in number daily, they would have had to getting together daily.

Acts 2:47--Praising God, and having favour with all the people.  And the Lord added to the church   DAILY  such as should be saved.

v46--And they, continuing   DAILY  with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart.

See they went to that temple   daily.

Luke 19:47---And he (Jesus)  taught   DAILY  in the temple....

Where do you get this  one day a week stuff from?  Better come up to the New Testament.  Study my new message on Grace.  It explains this more fully.

The reason Jesus told Mary not to 'touch' him yet;  he was telling her he had not yet been established by God to be one with God;  to recieve worship;  this happened when he ascended.

Law keepers believe that it is necessary to have the law of Moses in order to know what is sin and what is not.  They think they need this law in order to know what righteousness is.

But this is very easily disproven.  This is so simple I fail to understand how so very many people have missed it.  Now I ask you a question:  how did Abraham know what was sin?  How did he know what was righteousness?

Abraham lived 450 years before Moses gave any law!!!!   Now, how did Abraham know what  was right and wrong?

Answer this and you will know the truth.

If I had never heard of the law;  never read a word of it;  and had the Holy Ghost in my heart,  that Holy Spirit would teach me to love righteousness and hate iniquity!!!!

You people believing it is the law which teaches this are denying the work of the Holy Ghost.

Figure this out.

Hey, everyone,    someone,  jump on this!!  Please!!  I am asking all Saturday Keepers to jump in here and explain away why you keep only one day a week!!!   I have presented many Scriptures saying the New Testament Christians kept seven days a week.

I am asking all you Sunday keepers to jump in here and explain why you keep only one day a week.  Now, let's all stick to New Testament Scriptures.  Don't go by the Old Covenant.

Find me one New Testament command to keep Saturday;  find me one which commands me to keep Sunday. And while doing it, please explain why these in the Word kept seven days a week.

Now for some more on this daily business:

Matt.6:11--Give us our  DAILY  bread= daily spiritual meat.

Mt. 26:55---I sat  DAILY WITH YOU teaching in the temple...also in Mk 14:49

Luke 9: 23---If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross  DAILY, and follow me.

Lk.19: 47--And he taught  DAILY in the temple.

Lk.11:3--Give us day by day our daily bread.

He is not speaking of natural food;  he means spiritual food.

Lk. 22:53---When I was  DAILY with you in the temple....

Acts 2:46

The  10 commandments are not included in Gal. and 1Cor. 6---go look at it a little closer:  you will find that keeping a sabbath is   NOT  listed there; nor is it commanded any where else in the New Testament.

I find that those who so are so ardent about this,  think nothing about 'bearing false witness' against someone.  Why?

Because this one is part of New Testament teachings.

I think you will find that all the others are expressily taught in the New Testament;  but not sabbath keeping.  Why?  Because God changed a %  thing of the Old T., to 100%.  Now, under the Spirit of Grace, (the Holy Ghost), we must give our all to God.  Now, this is what people do not want.

They make up this stuff about the Pharisees;    there were no Pharisees or Sadusees in the day Moses gave and wrote the law.  They had not one thing to do with that matter.

You know what the trouble is:  those saying they think they must keep that 7th day,  really do NOT  WANT to keep it according to what Moses really said.  They go out and buy on that day;  this pollutes it.  They will go hicking, fishing, work on the computers; etc etc.  I know, for I asked them and some of them told me this.

They try to make themselves believe they are keeping it;  they blame the Pharisees with their not keeping it right.  They see the freedom Jesus showed about this day;  he said he worked on this day;  and even though they say they must keep it;  they want the freedom of Grace.  Law and Grace cannot co-exist.

People do not see that there are two laws.  That is the mis-understanding.  1John 2 says we have the old commandment, which is the Word we had  FROM THE BEGINNING.  Look into Genesis;  you will not find one reference to anyone being commanded to keep a sabbath.  That was unheard of, until Moses went up into the mt. and recieved those 10 commandments on stone.  Yet, they will say this is not the Moses law.  It can be nothing else.  Then, read the New Testament;  you will not find anywhere,  that it tells us to keep any sabbath.  So, see, the only time this was commanded was during that law age of Moses.

The Spirit of Grace is the Holy Ghost. This is the New Rest;  the true Rest.  When we are given this Spirit; we are put into Jesus; and Jesus is put into us.  He is our covering;  So, when God looks at us, He sees Jesus.  That is why no sin is imputed to us.  Therefore, we will live Holy lives;  and God will never see any sin in us.  He cast them away forever;  and remembers them against us no more.

In Rev. 18:  He remembers the sins of Whore church;  that is because they did not come to the New T.  They did not recieve the Holy Ghost;  they thought they would have salvation by the law of Moses= keeping a sabbath day.  Therefore, God sees their sins and destroys them.

That is why this is so very important.    In my opinion, it is the most important thing in the world.

Jo

Daniel :
011:031

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

People, notice here that the wicked one spoken of here, did away with the DAILY  SACRIFICE~: now this is the  DAILY  WORK OF THAT FIRST CHURCH, WHICH IS IN THIS ORIGINAL MESSAGE.   Notice also,  that they then placed the  thing which  had  made  them [Jerusalem]  DESOLATE.  So what was that??   They brought back into this Grace Church~~~~  that old  LAW.

YES, folks,  that is what had made them  DESOLATE  IN THE FIRST PLACE.  It has made them  DESOLATE   AGAIN.

011:032

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

[Against  WHAT  COVENANT?   THE NEW  TESTAMENT  COVENANT!!!!!]

011:033

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

People, this falling by sword, flame, captivity, and spoil    MANY  DAYS,  shows that this has been going on a very long time.  To be exact, the full church ages.  So, see that this wicked one, who came against the N.T Covenant, and set back up the thing which made Jerusalem  DESOLATE, has been here all the time = 2,000 years.  This has been all those Christians who have been killed and tortured by this old whore Jerusalem church for all this time.    They are the ones who took away the  DAILY  SACRIFICE~~~~~  AND SET BACK UP ONE  DAY  A  WEEK   WORSHIP.

011:034 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
011:035

And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

011:036 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
011:037 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
011:038 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
011:039 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
011:040 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
011:041

He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

011:042 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
011:043 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
011:044 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
011:045

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Now, what is right?  A DAILY  worship and work for God?   Or a one day a week 'rest' thing?

I think it is very evident which is true.

Jo

This is powerful!

~~ The Law is darkness ~~

The Old Testament Covenant had a certain set of laws, priests, prophets, rituals, place of worship, day of worship, and manner of worship. But, all of that was changed when the New Testament Covenant was established. It is of utmost importance to know this and abide by it. They are two completely different Covenants. You cannot belong to and keep both of them at the same time. You must completely leave one and cleave to the other one. They cannot co-exist. So, it very important to understand the differences in these two covenants and then decide which one you will try to abide by.

2Cor 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 2co 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart.

2co 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 2co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 2co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 2co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 2co 3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Heb 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. Heb 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Now there is more proof that God disannulled that old law covenant. You would have to call a lot of scripture lies, to deny this and hold to that old law. See that the law had to be changed when Jesus came in as our high priest. It is not the same old law. It does not work the same. That old law made nothing perfect. If you cling to that law, you will never be perfected.

Paul made it clear here that he was NOT speaking of the OT Law, of Moses, written in stone, when he said they were the epistles of Christ. He made it clear that he is speaking of living epistles, led of the Spirit of God. He was a NT Minister, ministering the Grace Covenant. This Grace Covenant was in their hearts, not written with ink. This then is the Law of Jesus Christ, not the OT Law. They are totally two different laws. They work differently. They have different results. That OT Law is the letter which KILLETH. It was death. It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When Adam partook of this law, he passed into death. He was in Grace and eternal life, to begin with. But he left that first estate, of being the anointed covering cherub.

But the thing of it is that he WAS anointed of God to be the covering. Now he is that OT covering which is not sufficient. It is not long enough to do the job of covering the people’s sins and bringing them to God. Verse nine shows that this law ministry of Moses was of condemnation. So to act still under that law, is to still be under condemnation and death. Proof? Sure. 2co 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 2co 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 2co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

2co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. 2co 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.

Now that solidly proves that the old testament blinds people. It also proves that it was abolished, or done away with. Since this old covenant was abolished and done away with, another Covenant has to be in its place, thus proving that they are two different and totally opposite Covenants. You absolutely cannot be under both covenants. God said you cannot serve two masters. You are serving Satan, or Adam, Man, if you are still under that old law.

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

The power of darkness was that old Law, with its ten horns, or ten commandments. That was darkness, or blindness or death. Those who come into Grace, or under the blood of Jesus, are translated into the kingdom of Jesus, God’s dear Son. This alone proves that you cannot be in both kingdoms, or covenants at the same time. If you have been translated out of that kingdom of darkness, you must no longer be living by the laws of the old covenant. You must now live by the New Testament laws of Jesus and his apostles. You must prove that everything you now believe and live by was taught by Jesus. Else you are still under the blood of bulls and goats, which can never take away sins. You are still in your sins, whosoever of you still go by the OT laws.

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Now there is the proof that Jesus abolished, or did away with that old covenant of handwritten ordinances, which was against us. It also shows that the principalities and powers, were of that old law covenant. And to prove that this is the bondage which was against us: Ac 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Ac 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. Ac 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; Ac 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Ac 15:10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? Ac 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. Ac 15:23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: Ac 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Now that clearly agrees with 11Cor. 3, that the old covenant was a bondage which was against us, and which Jesus abolished. It shows also that all of the apostles and elders were in total agreement on this matter, that it was subverting souls to say they must keep the law and be circumcised. So if you live your life according to that old law, and not the NT law, you are in bondage and will be lost.

Now for more proof that the law was the enmity of our soul: Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

See verse 15 shows that Jesus abolished the enmity, even the LAW OF COMMANDMENTS. So this agrees with 11Cor. 3, that the old law of Moses was the enmity, which Jesus nailed to his cross, taking it out of the way. He abolished that law, or old covenant.

Now this is the same old enmity which was placed between Eve and that serpent. So it is the serpents, Pharisees, who love that old law, or the enmity. They love it because by this law, they can rule over others, mainly men ruling over the women. It is perversion of God’s chosen way of life. No matter what anyone says, Eve was not placed under that bondage until AFTER THEY SINNED. It was punishment to the entire human race. It is not of God. That law was not of God, for had it been, He would never have abolished it. God never changes. The Law of Jesus Christ is love, Grace. It is not law. Under this new law of Jesus, no one rules over anyone.

Proof: Mt 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. Mt 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; Mt 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Mt 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Ga 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Ga 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Ga 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Ga 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Ga 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Ga 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Notice that. Before FAITH came, we were kept under law. In Christ ye are ALL ONE. This means we are all the same, with no one ruling over anyone. Neither male nor female, all one.

See, those still holding to the OT Law, which God abolished, cannot ever see this thing. They still want to see male and female. It is fleshly. They still wish to rule over others, for this is their way of receiving worship. It is that evil spirit of Adam, which brought sin into this world. He wanted to be God and be worshipped. He wanted to rule over Eve and others. This is why he deceived her into partaking of that law covenant. Under the Grace Covenant, we live by the law of Jesus, which said, with you it shall not be so. You are all ONE, or equals.

Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Ga 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. Ga 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Ga 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Ga 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. Ga 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Now regardless of how many proud men wish to hold the woman in bondage, this shows that all of the children of Christ were set free. We are not to be under that yoke of bondage. That yoke was first placed on women in the Garden of Eden, after they sinned. Jesus lifted this yoke of bondage. All who dare to still hold to this yoke are yourselves still under the yoke of law, and will perish. If you seek to be justified by the law, or keep any part of it, ye are debtor to do the WHOLE LAW. Not only that, but he said, you are fallen from grace. So this proves what I said to begin with, you cannot be under both covenants at the same time.

So you men who wish to rule over the woman, or anyone else, you are under this bondage of law and fallen from Grace. No salvation is under that law covenant. You women who allow yourselves to be ruled over in this manner, have not held fast to the liberty which Christ gave you. You are therefore still under that old bondage of law, and there is no faith in it. For if you had come to faith, you would have been set free of that law. That is just what the above Scripture said.

And to clinch it all: Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

So if you are still under that law, either ruling over others, or being ruled over, you are not led of the Spirit. If you are led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

You cannot be under Grace and wish to rule over others. It is contrary to all that Grace is. It is bondage. No person being ruled over is free. They are in bondage. If a man truly loved his wife as himself, he could not hold her in this bondage and attempt to deprive her of her rightful place in God.

Since God EXALTED them of low degree, the handmaidens, then they are at the top. God did not half exalt them. He fully exalted them. So they can minister anything which a man can. In fact, it looks a whole lot as if the man no longer can, for he has forfeited this right and God removed them from their high seat.

I have to say a big AMEN to this thread.  Good work, Tweety.  God has certainly moved on you and stirred up your spirit to fight this deception of taking God's people back under bondage, which neither we nor our fathers could bear.

They do despite to the Spirit of GRACE and trample the blood of Jesus, counting it an unholy thing, saying they must be kept sanctified by doing the works of a law which was never the way of God.

(now let them stew in this statement, in their utter darkness and confusion.)

Proverbs 1:22-33 (KJV)
1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Beautiful, Tweety.  simply beautiful.
God inspired you to post this marvelous Scripture at the end of this thread.  It is certainly true of all those who have been here and rejected the truth Which God sent to them, to try to free them from this bondage of LIES.
