Tweety, when you say you do not doubt Jesus, then you say you see no healings or devils cast out of miracles, are you sure you do not doubt? Think it over. He said these signs SHALL follow those that believe.
Now I agree with you on one thing, ...if all those who 'claim' to believe, really do, where is their signs? or faith? and how can a church believe, when they teach AGAINST all of these things? Think! That church could not possibly be a BELIEVING CHURCH.
Well, perhaps it would help you to read our testimony board. I see healing many times. I have not only been healed myself, many times, but have prayed for others and they received healing.
And I can assure you, there are many more of these in my life than I have ever taken the time to type up. Really need to do more, but sometimes I think it a waste of time, as most people just sneer at it and call it lies. But It does not matter, I still know that I see God at work in my life every single day.
If you do not see God at work in your life, you need to do what he says......stop putting it off....till some more convienent time.
I personally believe that the word 'greater' here, does not mean something more outstanding than Jesus did, but the 'greater' refers to more of it.....due to more people who should be doing it. And I can assure you, that first witness, the Apostolic Church of Peter's day, did that very thing.
It is sure that false teaching and the great falling away has caused most of these things to cease...not that Jesus will not.....but there is really no true faith..when a church teaches against these great things, as most churches do,,then their people are not going to have the faith.
When I left the Baptist church, I had no idea how to have faith. I longed for it. I prayed for it> I sought God for this gift of faith. He gave me faith.
When I left the Jesus-only church, I did not know how to have faith or live by faith. when I left all of the churches I ever attended, I still had no idea how to live by faith.
But when I left church and looked solely to God, he taught me how to live by faith, now to have faith, how to be healed by faith, how to heal by faith, how to walk through life by faith.
He has been moving on me for a few days to start teaching some messages on how to have faith. So now, I see it is greatly needed........just need to find the time.
I have miracles in my life, that would keep me busy typing up...if I did. I cannot type everything which God does in my life....would have time for nothing else.
I admit that I have never raised a dead person to life...but I did raise a dead bird once. Not I, of course, but through my prayer, the dead bird came back to life and few off.
I believe I will someday do this. But if not, I still know that I live by faith. That is what counts.
I have had many experiences with casting out devils. God showed me exactly how to do this.
