The prayer life of Jesus

Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Mark 1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Mt 26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. 26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Mt 26:40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Mt 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. Mt 26:43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. Mt 26:44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Lu 5:15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. Lu 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Lu 9:16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Lu 9:28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. Lu 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

Lu 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: Lu 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Mt 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone

His Teachings on prayer:

Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mt 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Mt 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Mt 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Mt 17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Mt 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Mt 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. Mt 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Mt 19:15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

Mt 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Mt 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Mt 21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Mt 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Mt 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Mt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak

Mr 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses

Mr 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

Mr 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Lu 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, Lu 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Lu 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

So we see that Jesus was a man of prayer. He went out alone and prayed. He prayed all night sometimes. He prayed for the sick, for children, for us who believe on Him through the teaching of His Apostles and for those who despitefully used him. He taught us to do the same. Men ought always to pray.

How many of us are following in his steps and his teachings in this matter of prayer? This is primarily why people do not see and have the power of God at work in their lives. They do not pray enough or any at all. Prayer and worship brings the very presence of God to you. Unless you have the Holy visitor come and stand before you sometimes, you need to start a good prayer life.

Of course you can't deny Jesus Christ, and his teachings and the God who sent him and expect to have the power of God manifest in the world or your own life.

So who does this?

Jesus Christ and his teachings sent Paul and made Paul a minister to the world, to bring them out of Darkness and the power of Satan, to God.

why are you denying this? It is just as much the word of Jesus as anything written in Matthew or Luke.?

Ac 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Ac 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
Ac 26:17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Ac 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Ac 26:19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

Denise, I have REDened the above WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST.

these are Jesus' own words, spoken to Paul, and saying that Jesus chose Paul, and that Jesus appeared to Paul, to make Paul a MINISTER and a WITNESS to turn people from the POWER OF DARKNESS AND OF SATAN to God.

Now that is what you are fighting. You are fighting the work of Jesus Christ and His own words here.

Yes, Satan does have power and has taken most people into darkness of lies. Jesus himself said few there be who find the way which leads to eternal life.

the Word says that Satan has deceived the WHOLE WORLD.

So you need to check up on what you believe and are fighting.

(but of course when one feels so powerful as to deny most of God's Word, to suit their own false ideas, there is nothing to reach them with. If you deny God's word, how convient for satan, whom you believe and listen to, and falsly call it God.)

As I have said before to you, God does not cross his own word. So in order to stick to your false doctrine, you MUST call most of the Scriptures fALSE. That is your defense, the Book of Acts is not of God.

So who gave you this kind of authority? to set aside most of the Written Word of God, for a voice speaking to you, denying the Written Scriptures?

****
p.s. My response here was to a lady who hated truth and fought it all the way. she despised Paul. I had to remove her from here because of her continual lying against us all.
