Beauty and Bands

Zech. 11: 7. And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

(These two staves were the law and prophets)

8. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

(the three shepherds which Jesus cut off were the O.T. Prophets, priests and Kings)

9. Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.

(this is where Jesus turns away from that old covenant; see no food left in it! anything staying there , he said let it be cut off; the rest would 'eat' the flesh, or word of each other; not the word of God)

10. And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

(Remember, this is at the time of the crucifixion; proof is below here ----- here is where Jesus cut off his staff called Beauty; which was the prophets which had been feeding the O.T. people the word from God; remember, it said the law and prophets were UNTIL John the Baptist; after this no more would God speak to the people by law and prophets; now he speaks to us by His Son. See that He said this was for the purpose of BREAKING HIS COVENANT (O.T. LAW) WHICH HE HAD MADE WITH THAT PEOPLE.)

11. And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.

WHAT DAY? IT WAS BROKEN ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION. JESUS NAILED IT TO THAT CROSS AND CARRIED IT INTO HELL AND LEFT IT THERE.

(THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH. RENEW THEIR STRENGTH?

SEE THAT THEY HAD BEEN CUT OFF; SO THERE WAS NO STRENGTH;

BUT TO THE PETERS AND JOHNS WHO WAITED ON JESUS, RENEWED THEIR STRENGTH BY BEING GRAFTED BACK INTO THE PURE OLIVE TREE ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST.

SO THEY KNEW IT WAS THE WORD OF THE LORD TO CUT OFF THAT OLD COVENANT AND RENEW IN THE NEW COVENANT.

I DON'T SEE HOW ANYONE COULD MISS THIS TRUTH; IT IS ALL OVER THE WORD OF GOD)

12. And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

(NOW, HERE IS THE PROOF THAT THIS IS SPEAKING OF THE CRUCIFIXION; FOR THIS IS THE THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER WHICH WAS PAID TO JUDAS TO BETRAY JESUS.)

13. And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.

14. Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel

(NOW, HERE IS WHERE JESUS CUT OFF THAT OTHER STAFF = LAW. THE WAS WAS THE BANDS, - OR BONDAGE-- THAT YOKE THEY COULD NOT BEAR.

SEE, IN DOING THIS HE BROKE THE BROTHERHOOD BETWEEN JUDAH AND ISRAEL.

NO LONGER CAN THE TWO WALK TOGETHER, EXCEPT THEY BE AGREED.

THEY MUST AGREE TO COME OVER INTO THE NEW COVENANT.

THEN THEY BECOME JUDAH, THE FAMILY OF JESUS. THEN THEY BECOME THE SPIRITUAL ISRAEL.

THE OLD JUDAH AND OLD ISRAEL, THOSE WHO CLING TO LAW ARE CUT OFF.

AND LEFT TO DIE.

THAT WHICH DIETH, LET IT DIE.

SO SAID JESUS.

Romans 11

1. I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

3. Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

(see that this remnant is according to grace - not law?) that is why it is only a remnant -- most of you stayed with law. not grace.)

6. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. (see that it cannot be BOTH?)

7. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

Now see, this said all Israel, except that elect remnant (which came in by pure grace; no law)--were blinded, they did not obtain what they sought = salvation --- but that elect remnant, obtained it --- why? because they sought it by faith - not works of law. You would have to be willfully blind to miss this!

8. (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

See, God gave them that spirit of slumber, blind eyes, deaf ears ----- how long?

Unto this very day!!

That takes in all you law keepers. unto this day! See where you are? No, you cannot see, for you are BLIND.

Now, all you blinded 'law keepers' had better read and get this scripture; that is IF you desire salvation.

Ephesians 2

fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Now, Jack, I see that you know not one thing about the N.T. I see what your problem is - are all adventist this ignorant of and in darkness of the N.T.?

If so, no wonder you cannot find truth.

Now can't you see that the apostle Paul plainly said our salvation is a free gift from God?

Paul said it is of FAITH -- NOT WORKS.

IN GAL. HE PLAINLY SAID    THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH.

SO THIS PROVES LAW CANNOT SAVE OR HELP SAVE ANYONE. IT IS NOT OF FAITH; WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH.

YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO STAND --- YOU ARE ON SINKING SAND. YOUR 'HOUSE' WILL FALL (INTO HELL).

NOT OF WORKS, LEST YOU SHOULD BOAST -- IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD.

Sorry friend, but you are still way off in the darkness and error.

Sorry. The Word does not teach such stuff. Nope. The works James spoke of is CHRISTIAN WORKS, NOT WORKS OF LAW.

NO! Paul made that all too clear. Paul himself, who said IF YOU GO BACK TO LAW, CHRIST IS OF NO EFFECT TO YOU.

Have you EVER read Galatians. You really should study this book.

How in this world could your 'mixture' work, if Christ is of no effect to you?

This 'MIXTURE' is that tree of knowledge of good AND evil. See? The 'mixture' is the LUKE WARM CONDITION GOD HATES.

It take hot and cold = ( a mixture)------ to make luke warm. God said I would you were either HOT = FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST = PURE GRACE

COLD = LAW.

Now, Paul said to be careful to maintain GOOD WORKS. This is referring to :

1. feeding the hungry

2. clothing the naked

3. giving drink to one who is thirsty

4. preaching the gospel

5. saying a kind word to someone

6. going a mile with someone who asks

7. let them have your cloke also

8. turn the other cheek

9. loaning, and asking not again--

etc.

NOT GOING BACK TO SABBATH SITIING, NOT LIVING BY COMMANDMENTS - NOT WORKS OF THE O.T. LAW.

Is that so, Mr muffin? HUM.

Seems to me you need to go to studying the Word of God instead of trying so hard to bring people back under the curse of the law; which Jesus delievered us from.

how bout calling ezekiel a lie?

Eze. 20: 25. Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

How bout calling Peter a lie?

Acts 15: 5. But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
6. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

7. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

9. And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Jack I have posted this same Scripture about a dozen times to you; what is it with you? Do you hate the N.T? Do you hate Peter? Do you hate Acts? sure seems like it. you may as well just call God a lie.

24. Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Jack open your blinded eyes!!!!!! Read this!!!! Peter said those who tried to take these Christians back to keeping law were SUBVERTING THEIR SOULS. THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO - SUBVERT SOULS. BETTER REPENT WHILE YOU STILL CAN. THE WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD IS GOING TO COME ON YOU IF YOU DON'T.

YOU ARE DENYING THAT GOD NOW ONLY SPEAKS TO US BY HIS SON. YOU THINK YOU MUST ADD LAW KEEPING TO HELP SAVE YOUR SOUL. YOU SAID THE LAW ALONE WILL NOT SAVE;

BUT IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOU ALSO THINK JESUS AND GRACE ALONE CANNOT SAVE YOU.

YOU ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE.

Now mr Jack, do you see that the one with the keys to the kingdom said the same thing I said? He said that law was a yoke on them and a heavy burden that none of them could bear?

You are in total darkness. That is how you can call Scriptures you do not like useless texts. They are useless to you, for they do not teach your false doctrine.

Do you call Peter blaspheming? You would have to; for he said the same thing I said; or rather I said the same thing he and Eze. said.

Paul called it a curse and a burden. I am quite sure these men of God knew the truth much better than you do.

Now, these posts were brought here from under Jack's thread; so they are addressed to him.

but since they explain so clearly the proof that law is not part of our N.T. life or salvation, I brought them here to help teach this subject fully.

There has been enough truth taught here in this community, and indeed this very thread, to set every blinded person on this earth free - that is if they wanted to see truth and be free.

But they do not.

The elect will see this truth; but the REST are blinded by God and will never see light; they will wake in hell fire someday.

But I have done as Paul, I have laboured night and day to get this truth to you. If you refuse it, that is your own damnation; my hands will be clean and free from the blood of you all.

I say with Paul, I have faught a good fight. I have kept the faith. I have bout finished my course. Let the will of God be done. I will continue to fight this good fight of faith as long as God permits and wills it.

None of you can condemn a thing I have said; for it is pure Scripture; you would have to call God, Paul, Peter, James and all of those writters a LIE.

To Lolady and any others wishing to learn more about the truth and difference between law and Grace, this message is full of help - truth on this subject. This is one of the most important teachings in all the Word of God. It is a MUST.

That is why I keep bringing this forth. May God open your eyes to this truth.

This is the very same message all the Apostles of Jesus taught; same power; same authority. Heed the words.

These messages are full of Heaven sent words. Truth same as taught in Bible days of Apostles.
