I wish to share this testimony of a mighty healing which took place for me this past Tuesday night. As I was speaking on the phone to a friend of mine, the pastor of the small church I now attend, a terrible pain started up in my stomach. At first, I said nothing to him about it. I was pressing my hand against the pain to try to stop it.

The pain rapidly grew very bad. It became so bad I could hardly breath. It hurt so bad to try to inhale. At first I thought I must have been having a heart attach. But then I realized it was on the wrong side of my body for that. It had climbed up into my back on the right side up to the neck.

By this time I was in great pain and also alarmed. So I asked my friend to pray for me. He did so. Then we hung up. I sat there a few minutes, almost unable to get a breath. I felt I was smothering. The pain became worse and worse each minute. By now I fully knew that it was a gallstone attach.

I have known since April of 1997, when I was in the auto accident, that I have gallstones. Several friends and sisters have told me that if I ever had an attack I would run to the hospital. I said no; God will take care of it.

I also know from all I have heard and read that these attacks usually last for several hours. I called my pastor back and asked him to pray for me again. I told him it was hurting so badly I could hardly breathe.

As he prayed and rebuked the pain again in the name of Jesus, the pain began to let up. Within five minutes of this second prayer, the pain was completely gone.

I want to praise my Jesus for giving me this great deliverance from that pain. I knew that he had answered my faith that I would not call for the doctor, but in accordance with the Word of God, I called for prayer.

The prayer of faith shall save the sick.
