Dedicated to Joseph Leblanc
A great Father, Son, uncle, brother,grandfather
to all who knew him.. he will live in our hearts forever
The poem wrote and read at Poppy's (Joseph's) funeral by George Stephan
A man with many names,
each sounding different, but the meaning the same;
There’s Joseph and Joe, Poppy, Pop, and Cha,
and last, not least, the old familiar “Da?/FONT>
He thrived amongst friends, and family held dear,
Sharing the laughs, and the occasional tear;
Remembering the past, but living for the day,
Creating new memories for others to convey.
A great passion for music, those “Down-Home?tunes,
Foot-tapping and dancing, pulling out the kitchen spoons
Clever play in cards, always sure what to do?/FONT>
That quirky little grin with the throw of a shoe.
The ability to lift the mood within a room,
His presence missed quickly if he left too soon;
Like a glue that held things, together and strong,
He was the core, for which we will long.
Look back at him now, with strength and with pride,
If ever feel troubled, he’s there at your side;
Hold close his wish, of love and fun,
Keeping his journey in the light of the sun.
We all took for granted that you’d always be here,
The memories left with us still keeping you near;
Thank you for being the man that you were,
You’re in all of our hearts, this you can be sure.

In memory of Dad who passed away
September 24, 2003
What we would give if we could say hello Dad in the same old ways.
To hear your voice, see your smile, to sit with you and chat awhile.
So if you have a father, cherish him with care.
For you'll never know the heartache till you see his vacant chair.
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

In Memory of My Dad
♥Joseph LeBlanc?/FONT>
God looked around His garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you the day God took you home.
If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk a path to heaven to be with you again.
Forever Loved and greatly missed,,,,,
