2c. water 1 3/4 to 2 lbs natural buckwheat or millet flour 3/4 cup canola oil 3/4 cup natural unrefined sugar 8 oz honey 8 oz. molasses 2oz powdered soya milk about 1/4 cup 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1 tsp baking powder (non aluminum)
Hunza diet bread has a taste that is very satisfying and chewy all on its own, but you also may add if desired, appricots, rasins, chopped walnuts or almonds, and or sliced dates to the above ingredients. Mix all the ingredients throughly. Gress and lightly flour a 13 by 9 by 2 inch baking pan. Pour the batter into the pan 1/2 inch thick over the bottom of the pan.
Bake at about 300 degrees F for 1 hour. After cooking, dry the bread in the oven for about 2 hours at a very low heat about 90 F. If your oven do not go to 90 F, try turning it as low as possible and leaving the oven door open until the bread becomes dry. After it cools, tip it out and cut into 2x2 inch squares.
Store the bread wraped in a cloth in a container. You may need to repeat the baking on the size of your baking pan and oven until all the mixture is gone.
Hunza diet bread is made from natural buckwheat ot millet flour.
