Here is my first project...it is 7 inches across. I am thinking about selling it for $5.00 each. They could be for actual pot holders or could go under a candle to protect furniture. This picture color did not come out very well. it shows white background but actually it is a very light lavender with a swirling pattern. I have a yard of this fabric so I think I could make about eight of these... I can also try to do the elemental colors for the star points ...or could make colors to match a decor if there was enough interest. (this one was an experiment...as I created the pattern myself as a paper-piecing quilted block....I plan on doing some more experimenting and maybe make some card pouches with this pattern or some pillows.
