
There are few things more satisfying than gobbling down a nutritious meal. Luckily for us, it’s an activity we can �?and should �?indulge in each and every day. I’ve talked about the importance of eating every three hours. So, imagine your day broken into three-hour intervals punctuated by delicious, healthful treats. These treats will alternate meal to snack, beginning with breakfast consumed within an hour of waking. Feeding your body nutritious foods will help you feel energized through the midmorning when you would normally feel drained of energy. Now, think about drinking your protein shake three hours after you finish breakfast. Close your eyes and take a few deep,
relaxing breaths �?in through your nose and out through your mouth. Envision yourself taking the steps to ensure this simple structure is implemented into your life. Make a grocery list of all the low-calorie, low-fat snacks and meals you plan on feeding your body, such as almonds, low-fat cottage cheese, beef jerky or chopped chicken breast. Soon you’ll reach the point where eating every three hours is a habit as natural as brushing your teeth.
