Getting (and Staying) Motivated
As you know, motivation is the key to my weight-loss program and is crucial to success on any program. Some of the rock stars are taking on some big challenges: A few have decided to train for the L.A. Marathon in March, while others are gearing up for local races. They have found each other and now they lean on each other for support and advice while they are training. Here is what one teammate had to say in response to the outpouring of encouragement and motivation:
"I am gone all day, come back and look at what's happened. Talk about feeling the love!!!! I read through everyone's posts and was touched, motivated, inspired, amazed, and in total awe of everyone on this thread...some of your posts literally brought tears to my eyes and trust me that is hard to do. For all of the new peeps here I look forward to reading about your training and sharing in your successes and supporting you during the rough spots. I am so glad you've decided to join us...Now, after reading everyone's post...I am wanting to go for a midnight run. Hmmmm midnight run or 6 a.m. boot camp...decisions, decisions.
Guys, thanks for everything you do...thanks for sharing and letting me be involved in a small part of your lives. I am a better person having been a part of this experience."
