Hello chambers. I seem to hit a slump. No matter what I do or what I don't eat I seem to gain weight. I went to the doctors last month and seems to make progress I only gain 2 pounds compared to 10 a month. Then I went back for a check up and I had blimpt up to 200. I have never been this big before and I haven't been eating anything I should and I have cut down on portion size too. All she says is keep working on it, I am and I am at a loss to what to do now. I have been walking and going to the gym so maybe I should give that up it isnt helping. I hope that with better weather now here I can work this off doing yard and garding work. Sorry for the rambling chamber byt thank you for listing.

I know this is beyond the banana in frustration for you. If you are truly keeping track of everything that goes in your mouth and it's only what's good for you and in proper amounts, and excersizing you SHOULD be losing weight, that is just simple laws of physics.
And when the opposite is happening we need to take a closer look.
There HAS to be something that is causing the weight gain.
I know you've had tests on your thyroid...could you be pregnant?
Perhaps you should try seeing a different physician, one specializing in women's health.
Do you keep a food journal? I know they are a major pain in the boohynie, but it DOES give you an objective look at your food consumption if you make entries faithfully.
In the meantime I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers

   You know we have all been where you are and know this frustration!  Qyzida has some excellent thoughts and also remember aboutwhat we talked about.  With all the stress you are having at this time as w4ell as the very real possibility that you are NOT EATING ENOUGH to keep your body from panicing into thinking your are starving and is going into a starvation mode...you could be triggering yourzelf into holding on to every tiny ounce to refill the fat stores ..that is just how our body works.  it is made to suvive beyond all.
 
So with this in mind, do think about some things you can make ahead and just have around...I think you should try eating something every other hour along with a full glass of water...this could be something as simple as a bowl of jello...or a dollop of cottage cheese...think about what you have that you could to keep something in your tummy at all times...just MAKE SURE that it is low in calories.  Make a plan...purposey set out your food first thing in the morning...and one thing you could even do is to get a stack of paper plates or bowls and place these portions on this and stack them in the fridge...set your timer and when it goes off every other hour...go hand have that smack with a FULL glass of water..(this water can be even warmed and made into a tea) but DO IT...and make sure you hve the full glass each time.  Try this just for one week and see if you see a difference.  If it is working, then you WILL see the difference within three days...I know it means sitting down and really thinking out what you will eat and what you WILL NOT EAT...the "stick to it" is the secret.
 
BELIEVE that this will work..and break the starvation mode.  I bet you will have success with this.  So try it.
 
I wish you all the luck in the world and I know that with all you do, you WILL LOOSE this and start back on your path to being a shrinking witch!!
