Well, it's the 21st and I haven't written all summer, Bad Toad! Bad BAD!!

 

This summer is the busiest one I've had in a long time, seems like something was always going on. In June I started going to the swimming pool every morning. The excersize really helped me thru some projects I started in renovating my clinic in July and gave me the stamina to complete alot of rearranging with alot of help from Stewart. Keeping up with him isn't easy.

The first week of August I took the Girls, May and Velma with me to Washington State for a coven retreat at Lady Majyk's. It was WONDERFUL!!! The drive was long, and Velma helped drive a little, and we got there in 2.5 days. The drive home was alot longer because we came down the coast and the roads are windy and slow and we stopped at all kinds of neat places like the recreation of Stonhenge and the redwood forest. We did alot of beachcombing and walking and climbing and when I got home I looked at the scales and found out that even tho I didn't really stick to my diet that well for those 10 days, I hadn't gained any weight! YAY!

Since I've been back and found the house a disaster area left by those I left at home, I've been reinstating house rules and cleaning up. Some behavior patterns have had to be addressed and some people in the house have been asked to find other accomodations, one particularly unpleasant one was my son who moved out into the dormitory at college last night.

The heat has been really hard to cope with averaging 110 nearly everyday.

It hasn't been easy for me to do the housework, with my meds, if I get over heated I get really sick and dizzy. So I've been trying to get somethings done early in the morning or late at night. Wish the AC worked better, but it doesn't.

Problems with hired hands and the heat and the clutter have really slowed down some redecorating projects, but I'm determined to get everything done by the middle of Oct. I'm on the YPN team of organizers that is planning the Metaphysical fair and Witches Ball which are going to be held here the last weekend in Oct, so I HAVE to get things together, and my sympathy for distractions and noncompliance to rules is in short supply. I am extremely determined to bring into fruition many years of dreams I have had to put on the shelf because of my health issues now that I've dumped 60 pounds of fat and am feeling much better. I still have limits, but Goddess help anyone who hinders me or tries to sabotage my mission. WicHaven WILL be a place the Goddess won't be appauled to visit ANYMORE!
