The Paleo Diet.
The Paleo Diet... not a diet, but a lifestyle, much like being a vegetarian.
So what is the Paleo Diet? Well, it's all about eating like our ancestors did- the way our bodies were designed to eat. Humans were hunter/gatherers, consuming fresh vegetables, available fruits, meat, and nuts. That is the basis of the Paleo Diet. Some include dairy (like myself), though people are not designed to consume milk into adulthood. Hey, we all have our vices- lol. Breads, pastas, potatoes, beans and refined sugars are out. This goes way beyond "low carb."
Haven't you ever wondered why more "primative" societies have such strong healthy bodies? It's because their diet, unlike the American diet, has barely changed since the first humans 2 million years ago.
So why the Paleo Diet? It's simple... because it's just plain good for you. It's packed full of nutrient rich foods that you can eat lots of, and still lose weight.
