Lemongrass Iced Tea
5 stalks lemongrass
4 cups water
3 bags green or white tea
granulated sugar
ice cubes
lemon wedges
Remove the tops and outside leaves on the lemongrass stalks and chop the remainder. In a small pan, bring the water to a boil. Add the tea bags and the lemongrass, remove from heat, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain the tea. Sweeten to taste with sugar and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes about 1 quart.
