My daughter's little boyfriend was born & raised in another tiny town 3 miles over.  I have met dumb boy a few times & he has shown a healthy fear of me.  I like that.  His mommy & daddy live on south Main street, he lives on north Main, sister lives one street over, brother next door to sister.  It's like these people just cannot get out of Fithian.  Daddy is unemployed from Hobbico, mommy, sister & dumb boy all work at Hobbico--my brother is their boss.  Their brother was fired from Hobbico (by my brother) & now works at the DQ right down the street from Hobbico.  They know various relatives of hubby's.  There's the background...

Last night there was a "discussion" about hubby's family.  Apparently ALL Farnums "cop out" & join the military.  My husband was in the Army, his brother Roger was drafted to Nam & brother Emile was a Marine.  Emile's son Brad was also a Marine & MY sons are in the USAF & Navy.  My oldest son isn't even a Farnum!

Somehow these idiots think I should apologize for my kids joining the military.  I went off last night & am still fuming, especially after Kelly just told me what all was said after I hung up on these morons.  I know I should just let it go but I am writing to that crazy b*tch mother just to let her know how blue-collar redneck stupid she is!  MY sons have the balls to put on the uniform every day while hers pull boxes off shelves & make ice cream cones!!  That's something to be proud of!!  My daughter might be a bum but she hasn't brought 3 illegitimate kids home to me!  And why they're saying anything about my son Kyle is beyond me!  He's finishing high school for cripes' sake--granted he's home schooled but that's our business!

Then the crazy b*tch had the nerve to say something about me being a bum!  I guess dumb boy stood up for me.  Like I told him, I don't care about that.  I know my paycheck probably equals all theirs put together.  My butt is on fire for ridiculing my military boys.  I came very close to driving over there last night & kicking all their asses!!  I may end up doing that!

Help me!  I'm surrounded by idiots!!

Don't let them get under your kind.  It's only words.  There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of because your sons decided on a military career.  It's something to be proud of.  Guess that family can't take the dicipline it takes to be in the service.  Not to mention the fact that probably some of your family did their required years when they joined then they found other legitimate means of support.  A few of my cousins (LOL I only have 5 and 3 were career military) made out in life extremely well because of their military careers and they are quite successful in business' they started after they did their 20+ years.

Up theirs!!  They don't have a leg to stand on.  Envy!  That's all I have to say really...these jerks are just envious of your boys.  After all...they dared to go after something more than the local employment offering.  Dared...to want to serve something greater than themselves.  How dare they want to give to their country!

I wouldn't waste my time or energy on the morons...just take satisfaction in knowing that your boys have turned into fine, young military men who have served with dignity.  That in itself says volumes!!

I let it slip to my baby brother what was being said about his nephews.  Tim has ways to make their lives miserable--he is their direct supervisor after all.  Lesson #1:  Know who you're screwing with.
