My good wishes for a nice day.  Weatherwise - it's lovely here and I would have liked to have gone to Waitrose with John this morning but can't seem to manage it!!  We'll have to wait and see what to do about the Group - I like, everyone else, will miss it very much if it closes.   I wish I knew more about computers Ruby - I would have tried to help you if I could!!!!  Jess - enjoy your shopping day (WoooooWooooo!!!)  How do you manage to go - by wheelchair or do you have a buggy like Ruby.  I have to rely on "shanks pony" at the moment and so I'm very limited but must get it sorted soon.   Hope Ewan is pain free today and that you are both managing o.k.  Love..Joan XX

Sorry I didn't answer you yesterday Barb about my Grand daughter. They'd tought it might be her apendix but decided it's another Chrones attack, she's on oxygen this time and got her meds going so she's doing better, they are keeping her another day or two so it's a "day at a time" thing. The pain is being taken care of so that's something. My neice that has it is having to have open heart surgery and replacing a valve this week or next. she's only in her early 30's so we're worried about her too. Prayers for them both please.
take care all and have a good day.
Jessie

Good Morning Everyone,
Thanks again for keeping us up-dated on Ruby, Joan ~ it is truly much appreciated.  OK ~ what on earth is a "shanks pony"????  Sorry you weren't able to gow with John to Waitrose & by the way is that a coffee shop or what??  I, too, am quite worried about the group situation & wonder if there is some way that I could exchange email addys with some of you without it being public for alllllll of cyber-space to see?
Jessie, I'm so sorry about your Grandaughter & your neice.  My prayers are with them, you & your family.
It is cold & windy here today & getting ready to rain some more.  I so wish it would dry out for a couple of days so we could enjoy some fall colors before the rain/wind just blows them all off.  I'm just doing laundry & odds & ends around the home front this morning.  Then later this afternoon I'm going out to meet my Grandaughters' school bus @ their home & bring them home with me for the evening & possibly the night.  Scott & Dee are going to pick up their new van & it's a 3 hour trip one way & they can't leave til @ least noon when Dee is done with her last class.  Sooo....it will be a nice time with my girls.
Hello to all to come ~ hope everyone has as nice a weekend as possible.  Caring thoughts & prayers for all in need.
Hugs,
Cilla

Cilla - Waitrose is a supermarket with a very nice coffee shop which I used to go to every Friday and enjoy a nice cuppa, but just can't manage it at the moment.  "Shanks Pony" means to use your own legs and feet, not wheelchairs or buggies etc.  To walk it in other words.!!  Lots of love and take care of yourself..Joan XX

Hello all - not a nice day here - it's blowing and cold with it.  I'll ring Ruby tomorrow and see if she has any more news.  I don't know how she'll manage to visit Ewan as the hospital is quite a long way from their house.   Take care everyone and lots of love..Joan XX

Photobucket Just popping in to see how you all are and say hello. Ewan never got the scan yesterday so he'll have to wait till he gets that and then see what they will do. I'm tired and trying my best to cope. No one been in today except my carer, so thought I'd pass the time here. It's pouring windy and cold here today. Alan and Joanne are coming later with Liam, my G/Son so he will keep me occupied. The Dr is phoning me on Monday to see what to do about my bone scan results, they got the results back on thursday.
Hope you have a god day. Prayers for all who need them.
Ruby

Hello on this beautiful but chilly day.  It's almost noon & the girls just left in Mom's new van.  It's really pretty & she is very happy with it.  The girls & I had a nice time together but I'm really tired.  Wheezing alot due to keeping the house warmer than usual all night so the girls wouldn't be chilly on the floor in their sleeping bags ~ their choice of places to sleep here.
Thanks for the explanations, Joan!  Hope you are soon able to resume your Friday coffees out.
Sorry you aren't feeling so great today, Jess.  Perhaps your company will cheer you up.  I like that witch too ~ snag away ~ I don't mind ~ I snagged it myself from somewhere!
Ruby ~ hope Ewan is doing better.  It must be really difficult when it is so far to visit him.  I'm glad you will have company & help today.  Keep your chin up.  Continued prayers for you both.
I think I'm going to meld with my recliner for abit.  I had planned to do some chores around here, but just don't have the breath or energy so it will have to wait til I do ~ I'm sure the chores will still be there when I feel better!!
Hello to all to follow.  Caring thoughts & prayers for all!!
Hugsssssss,
Cilla

Good Morning Cilla and all to come.
It's a terrible day here, heavy wintry rain wind and very cold. So I won't get to see Ewan today again . He's doing ok just now but they hope to get the barium scan done tomorrow, If they can fit him in.
I'm still trying to cope, getting there at times, But back and side sore this morning.
Did you all remember to put your clocks back last night?.
Joan phoned me and said her connection is off just now, so she can't get on for now.
Jenny, Jess, Jessie ,Meg hope you all feel better soon. Also anyone else who is not so good just now. Cilla hope you get a well earned rest, and Charlie how are you doing.
Barb how you getting on with your new YUKU group. I tried to start one there but don't have a clue how to set it up . I've not got much go to get in yours for now, and taking time to keep my own going here for now.
Hope we can all keep intouch when group closes. I'll send my email so you can send me your emails, any who want to keep in touch. I don't want to lose any off you and hope I can get a group similar to this one set up.
Take care all, God Bless,
Ruby

Hello all - Just got back on-line again after a morning's frustrations!!  Pleased to see you in today Ruby and hope you are coping o.k.  Let us know how you get on tomorrow after your phone call with your dr. re your osteosporosis.  I have it too and have just re-started my Alendronic tablet - I dropped it for a while (shouldn't have!!).  It's a nice bright day here today but coldish - the forecast is for very cold weather during next week (not looking forward to that!!)  Lots of love to all..Joan XX

I hope you all had a goodnight's rest & of course pleasant dreams. Guess it will be a quiet one here today. Looks like the sun is trying to come out which would be nice.
My back is some better this morning but eye is still sore. Always something!
Enjoy whatever you have planned. Saying prayers for all in need. Take care & stay safe. Huggs

Well, another week started. It's sunny and cool,,,,very cool. Not doing too much today just a little laundry. Charlie told me to wait for him to get back to start it,....it seems now I don't know how much soap to put in, I'm using too much. Men, for 25 years I've done the laundry the same way, now all of a sudden, I use too much soap???? I swear he's going through menopause. Take care all, I'm going to TRY and stay out of trouble. ha ha
