Hi, 1st Thanks for letting me join!

11/dec/06 I had a heart attack whilst suffering with a bad bout pleurisy,
( for the 4th time in 06 ), which left me with a partially collapsed lung, fluid in the other lung.  As I suffer with PTSD, Anxiety/ Stress & Panic Attacks.
I have been lucky to have a Doctor that prefers to treat in the community rather than hospitalise, after some results from blood tests ( Kidney & Liver still pending )
too high Platelets, Fat & Triglycerides! other results have confirmed ' very underactive ' Thyroid ( whatever very is  ) leaving me with
Hypothyroidism, Diabetes type2, Coronary & Congestive heart failure.
For about 7 yrs I have suffered unconfirmed Angina, ( due to anxiety hospital fear ),
which has now been confirmed!

Thanks Juicy,
I am trying to use as much PMA as possible, plus my wife, Tracy,
as been as true to her ID as possible ( Heart of Gold ) I would be lost forever without her  .
I think my biggest hurdle is accepting what has happened to me, & adjusting from a 40 + yr old generally healthy & active lifestyle, to this really slowed down as i call it,
" 0 - just about get going eventually ", lol , new person.
I know that there is a certain amount of depression & i'm awaiting treatment ( after they have stabalised what they can ), But I am sure I will get ' there ', by continuing to be positive!

Hi all,
Sorry I havn't been around much lately, you could say I been sharing myself with the Docs & Hospital.
Hope you are all doing well.

Update on my illnesses as of date:

Angina,
Coronary & Congestive Heart Failure,
Scarred & fluid on lungs,
Scarred kidneys,
Bright Liver, Non alchaholic,
Hypothyroidism,
A.I.D.S. ( Auto immune defiency syndrome )
Diabetes type 2 ( tablets & diet )
Depression.

With all the tests I am beginning to feel like a ' lab rat ' lol,
plus I think my Docs have a pet vampire or they are selling my blood to a ' black pudding factory '

Hi all, remember me ? LOL.

Hope you are all well (or should I say " as well as to be expected "  )
Sorry I havn't been back lately, been really busy with Docs, Hospitals & Opticians etc. ( Diabetes playing my eyes up, I am on 4th pair of glasses since Jan 2007, even had to give up driving lessons for nearly 3 mnths till eyes settled down
Plus I got awarded DLA ( hey no suprises there then lol ), so have also been busy trying to get my driving tests passed, so I can use my car instead of it being a ' big ornament ' at the front of house lol.

Update on my illnesses as of date:

Angina,
Coronary & Congestive Heart Failure,
Scarred & fluid on lungs, am now on inhalers, twice a day plus when needed.
Scarred kidneys,
Bright Liver, Non alchaholic,
Hypothyroidism, ( which has just this last month balanced out with the medication )
A.I.D.S. ( Auto immune defiency syndrome )
Diabetes type 2 ( tablets & diet ) & Diabetes Insipid.
Clinical Depression.
Arthritis in shoulder & Cervical Spondylosis.
My medication list reads like an epic.
A mate asked the other day is that what that rattles is, i replied not guilty i can't move fast enough to rattle them lol
I tell everyone: my feet are ok though lol

np. sorry to hear about your hosp. stays, Ruby_680 nothing too serious I hope?
I think a lot of peeps not been too well lately with all the ' bugs 'n' things going around. I'm thinking of doing a 'Michael Jackson' ,& get an oxygen tent to hide from our kids, lol  .

Things here are very much the same as last post ( 08/02/2008 ).
Still waiting trying to build 'confidence' to go for driving test,( even though instructor has said " your normal everyday driving is beyond excellence, I would even say its better than my driving & you won't get much more praise than that ".

The docs seem to have left me alone up until last wk. requests for full bloods & a cpl of new tests.

Take care all!
