One Fine Day
Revelation 21:3-4
Text 4

We as the children of God are on a pilgrimage journey down here on this old sin stained place we call Earth. We are faced with all types of events and situations that sometimes seemingly just take our breath completely away and we simply at times don't have any more physical strength left to stand. Some are just completely past our human thoughts and reasoning. Sometimes we're just at a loss for words or answers and many are only known unto God Himself.
Many are concerned and fearful over world events such as the nuclear arming of rouge nations, world hunger, drug abuse running out of control, aids, abortion, the murder of the innocent unborn, terrorism, children murdering parents and parents murdering children. The list goes on and on.
War, rape, murders, abortionist, sodomites will be dealt with by the Just Judge of all Judges. The Bible speaks of a day when this sin stained old world as well as the heavens which man is established and his habitation that is fixed by God will be done away with.
The Bible also speaks about death being vanquished and God Himself will wipe away all the tears from our eyes and then we'll be completely at peace with our God and with ourselves.
We will have true joy and not just temporary happiness that has to do with events that are just fleeting and gone in a moment. The word joy means to literally to leap and spin about with pure pleasure. Oh what pure joy there will be when at last we see the face of the ONE that saved us by His marvelous grace.
There we'll be able to sing a new song that only the saved by grace will know and we won't even have to rehearse. Even the angels will not be able to sing this new sond for they don not know what it's like to have they're sins forgiven and being redeemed.
There will be no more sorrow for sorrow contracts the heart. Sorrow also sinks the spirit and can cause poor physical health. Terrible mental strain can be caused by sorrow. Imagine a place where where all emotional scars will be gone. Whether the loss of a child, a mom or dad, husband or wife, no more sorrow and grief.
We will also hunger no more for the Lamb of God will fill all our desires for the desires of the flesh will be gone and no more an hinderance to the people of God.
We will never thirst again for the Lamb is that fountain of living water. No more thirsting for the things that were present in the old world. All our thirst will be forever refreshed.
In Revelation 21:1-4 John wrote of what he saw. He saw a new heaven and a new earth. The old ones were done away with for the filthy hands and fingers of man had scarred defiled the old. Even space as we call it has been polluted with all that garbage man has launches into it, also the junk man has placed on the moon as well as other palnets and the such.
John also saw the holy city, the New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven as a bride adorned for her husband. All the horrors of war, and death that the old city has seen through all the ages of time will be gone in that new city.
Then finally at last GOD HIMSELF will be among HIS people, dwelling with us and HE will be our GOD and all the other false gods will be finally done away with.
One fine day all will be right and righteousness will reign because the Alpha and Omega will be once and forever worshipped as He should have been all along.
Even so, come, LORD JESUS. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, Amen.
Evangelist Stephen Blan
