This Same Jesus

Acts 1: 9-11
Text 11

Have you ever noticed things that seem the same but are really different?
At first glance they seem to be alike but when looking closer they really aren't identical.
We may name certain things by identifying them in a certain category.
Let's take a look at things in what we call nature:

1. Nature
(a) Waves, they have different lenghts, heights and velocity
(b) Trees, oaks, elms, cedars poplat, etc.., different heights, amount of limbs, needles as well as fulness and shape
(c) Stars, size, distance and brillance
(d) Planets, size, distance, mass, atmospheres, cold, hot, etc...

2. Humans
(a) Twins, attitudes, behaviors, birhthmarks, moles, eye and hair color
(b) Men, short, tall, large, small
(c) Women, large, small, petite, full figure,

Here are but just a few examples in creation.
This creation was from the lips of God and His power for His purpose and His will.
The one thing that will always be constant in this universe and the world to come is that this same Jesus is the very God- Man Himself.
He came down in the flesh and dwelt among us old sinful people and saved us by His sacrificial death.
That day at Calvary when He offered up Himself as the final blood sacrifice once and for all time.

1. Eternity Past
(a) Genesis 1:26, Let us make man in our image after our likeness
(b) John 1, He is the Word
(c) Genesis 1:2, The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters
(d) Genesis 11:7, let us go down and confound them
(e) Daniel 3:25, Jesus was the fourth man in the fire
(f) Matthew 8, Jesus healed the leper, Peter's mother in law and cast out demons
(g) Matthew 14:25, Jesus walked on the water
(h) John 19:30, He gave up the Ghost

2. Eternity Present
(a) John 14:1-3, Jesus is preparing a mansion for each one individually
(b) Romans 8:34, Jesus is making intercession for His saved by grace ones
(c) Jesus is still giving out grace, mercy, forgiveness, peace, comfort, love

3. Eternity Future
(a) 1st Thess. Jeus is coming back to catch away His bride
(b) Rev. 5:5 Jeus is the One that will open the seven seals
(c) Rev. 19: 11 Jesus is the one that is Faithful and True
(d) Rev.19:16 Jesus is The King of Kings and LORD of LORDS
(e) Rev. 22:12-13, Jesus is the rewarder and the Alpha and Omega

So this same Jesus is the very One who died for you and took the beating, mockery, torture, and all the sins and wrong you've ever committed and bore them in His body so you could be set free and forgiven.
It is this same Jesus that we will all stand before one day whether it be at the Bema Seat (Mercy Seat) or for the lost at the Great White Throne Judgement.
Jesus is the answer for you and all that have ever been born.
HE is the Resurrection and He is the way to eternal life.
