...that the LORD hath made.  Let us rejoice
and be glad in it!

I'm very upset with how the election turned out
but God is STILL in control.  He knew the
outcome beforehand and I have to totally trust
that He knows best.

Let's pray for the new president, that God will
turn his heart toward Him because our God is able!

Proverbs 21:1 ~ The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will.

This verse gives me great hope and comfort!

This may be the last election we ever vote in for President, for now the stage is set for the Lord's return, for America will not support Israel now in the coming war with Russia.

Yesterday was Election Day in the United States, and perhaps today you're feeling troubled if one of your candidates lost or if some ballot initiative that you supported failed. Sometimes we worry even when our candidates win. The political consultant, Robert Strauss, was a Washington insider who advised presidents from Lyndon Johnson to the first George Bush. He once said:   "Everybody in government is like a bunch of ants on a log, floating down a river. Each one thinks he is guiding the log, but it's really just going with the flow."<o:p></o:p>

The truth is—the Lord holds sovereign sway over the currents of history. These are troubling times, but we have a powerful and precious Savior. It's enough for us to leave the future in His hands, being fully persuaded that He has the power to keep what we have committed unto Him against that day.
Let's pray for our leaders, intercede for our nation and world, and trust the Jesus Christ as Lord of the future.

Please help me. How did you come to the conclusion that President Elect Obama’s position on Israel is not to support her? Please consider the following links pertaining to the:

We could go on and on either President Elect Obama has been lying throughout his campaign, which is possible, or what he has maintained he has spoken in truth.

He was not my pick either for a number of reasons. Where did you get your information that President Elect Obama will not support Israel?

I don't know where I saw it either, but I will dig for it.

I seem to recall President Elect Barack Hussein Obama (if we are going to be so formal - we ought to go all the way) mentioned that Israel needed to give up more land and Palestine needed to become a state...

We shall see-

Chip,

Would you mind telling me why you keep using President Elect Obama's entire name instead of refering to him as either President elect Obama or President Obama? I'm trying real hard not to assume what your motives are in making a point of reminding us that President Obama's middle name is Hussein.

I think I remember you saying you are aware of what Paul wrote to the members of the Church in Rome chapter 13.

I refer to him as President elect or President Obama out of respect for the Office he has been elected to. President Obama will have to earn my respect as and person and there is a difference.
